He auditioned (Jin) to be an actor but ended up as a singer, same way Suga auditioned to be a producer but because most of the original rap group didn't want to be idols he ended up in the group. RM rapping wasn't an audition he was singing the song Big hit used to invite trainees to the 'big hit second audition'.

Imagine being chosen with 5-6 strangers and then being taken away from family to start training at such a young age. They truly earned everything they’ve accomplished. JK’s family was poor so he at a very young age came to Seoul! probably at 13. He took part in a show and was outstanding. Many companies contacted him but he went to BH for Namjoon. He almost left seoul because of the pressure but said jin was the one who made him stay by making him feel at ease

I remember New Kids on the Block during their heydays. If there were social media back then, they might hv done more than what they did before. They also hv global fans. Apparently, they don't hv a leader like Namjoon. So after getting tired of their routines and fighting within themselves, they disbanded. They had a comeback in the US the recent years, and their charm and aura are still there, mesmerizing even the younger generations inspite of their ages (40s). I hope that BTS have the same magic to their fans when they decide to hv a comeback after turning old.
