Just TMI and FYI 😂 for Korean, when they refer as being “friends” its usually means same age friends.. since jin and yoongi only have 3 months difference, at that time they said yoongi is literally the same age “friend” with Jin so he can drop honorific 😂 Jimin also wants to drop honorific, that’s why Jin said but we’re not friends (means he’s older than jimin) I’m only ‘friend’ with yoongi lol They’re a lot of korean context jokes that would be hard for non-korean speaker to understand. Yes you are correct. And when calling an older person, if there is no 'hyung' after the name, it is considered an informal speech. However, if 'ssi' is added at the end, like Jimin's 'ssi', it is not considered informal speech. Therefore, when BTS members sometimes call their hyungs by their names, it is considered informal to call them without ‘hyung’. But even if they speak informally to them, they don't feel uncomfortable or annoyed.

Just as some context-ish to the Jhope, V, Jimin live where they're eating... This was right after their concert in Las Vegas and it was funny because half of army wasn't even out of the arena yet and they were already live and eating 🤣There was this long road/over pass that we all had to leave the venue on and you could just see everyone with their phones out, or even holding them above their heads so that others could watch hahaha. What a fond memory of a shared moment between armys

the thing with hearing korean fans was this: at the end of pandemic BTS were able to hold concerts in US finally, but SK had more strict regulations with mass events, thus korean concerts were with less total capacity and with a prohibition for fans to talk/scream. armys were gives paper clappers to clap to the beat of the songs, and all fanchants were also modified for clapping instead of chanting. so the boys went with not hearing cheers at their homeland concerts for way longer and they missed it greatly

Jin licking Jungkook's hand was because what JK said can have two meanings so Jin "demonstrated" the wordplay (not sure about the exact meanings but that's what a Korean ARMY told me 😅). The same goes for apologising which can also mean giving an apple. 38:06 this is not friend said like in what you mean by friend in english but "chingu", same age person/friend and Jin and SUGA being the same age since they are in America and their in international age they were the same age because it was after Yoongi's birthday. So in America they are the same age (in international age counting) from Yoongi's birthday Mars 9 until Jin's birthday. In Korea your age changes at January 1st and not your birthday and so 1 year older is always 1 year older and addressed with hyung, you are not same age friend (chingu) and should use honorifics. But also in America people speak the same to all ages so Jimin also dropped honorifics like an American and called Jin "Seokjin-ah" which you only do with chingu (same age friends) or speaking to younger in Korea so Jin says no we aren't chingu (same age friends). So "We're not friends" is better translated to "We aren't the same age (even here in America)".

13:00 I think you've seen this performance or clips from it, it's PTD tour and for Black Swan/Fake Love when they were all wearing black suits but JK and Jimin wasn't wearing more than a chain harness under their jackets. So it makes sense JK had oil on his abs since he wasn't wearing a shirt so even before the jacket button popped off and was all open his abs was showing a bit. As he explained here, when he shows his abs because of wardrobe or choreo he puts oil on them. 14:23 j-hope is making lots of sound effects as usual and they are slurping noodles. If you don't like slurping and food asmr then do not watch this live, looooots of loud slurping 😆 31:24 _"Do you want to come up/in/by for ramen?"_ etc. is like "netflix and chill" in Korea and the updated version is "come see my cat".
