Why is it 100 dollars for lip balm? Rich people are the worst

I just got my 'Lips" black lip stick case and it's very nice but the top isn't magnetized and its heavy and just falls off.☹ You can't carry these in your purse or anywhere without the top falling off the case exposing your lip stick to everything. Too expensive not to be able to close it!
