Fun Fact: This was the first ANYTHING I ever saw of BTS and I saw it when it premiered because it was trending on Twitter. So ON GRAND CENTRAL STATION has a very very very special place in my heart, because not only I watched it at least 10 times in a row, not believing what I was watching, but because it made me think "Oka... okay ... let me look into these boys" and 1 year 8 months later here I am with my ARMY self.

As a native New Yorker, this performance gives me goosebumps every time. The time on that clock is real- BTS filmed this at GCS at 3:30am and they had to shut down train service for a brief period. Can you hear the natural acoustics??? Legendary!

If I remember exactly BTS repeated 4 times the whole choreo before recording ! And they managed to rent the Central Station for 2 or 3 hours which is amazing considering that is the Central station finally that is a historical monument ! I don’t think you understand the significance of this performance…It was utterly EPIC. To close down Grand Central Station in NEW YORK CITY is massive Man. They recorded this In the early hours In the morning. These guys are incredible performers. The backup dancers are insanely talented as well. They put EVERYTHING into each performance and you can see it. What is even more amazing is if you watch the behind the scenes/ making of this you see that they actually did the full perfomance of this a few times...so they could get the best take for the show. And they attacked it hard EACH time. (which is why they were exhausted at end of it)

They did this 4 times thru. BTS said they would never have made it through, but the background dancers started yelling for them every beat. Watch the background and listen once the dance break starts. Every person is working their hearts out!

Edit: Also I know all of them are amazing dancers but Suga is actually a lot better then people realize. I think I a lot of it has to do with that he doesn’t want the spot light and is more in the back of their formations usually. Also because of his shoulder he had problems sometimes…

This debut of "On" in February 2020 is the first time I saw them. I didn't know anything about them. To say the least I was overwhelmed with them, to their talent, and the production. Coming from a musical theatre background I was amazed with their superior choreography and precision. I have watched BTS every day on KZbin since then. I Know they are the best. Trivia...they filmed/taped this 4 to 5 times that night to get the perfect take. And we know they always perform at 100%. So when they collapse at the end...they are exhausted to the max!!! They still have never performed this live for an audience. They debuted this song, Covid hit, they cancelled their tour, and they were distraught. It took them a long time to grieve over that major loss!!! I am so glad I found them. This performance and song will always be my favorite!!!

Despite my age BTS have got me through some extremely difficult times and my whole family are grateful to them. YES! Amazing detail! This was such a great performance and there’s a behind the scenes video for it that you’d enjoy watching even if you don’t do a reaction to it. One thing I took away from it was that the floor was really slippery and they were worried about falling and sliding around so I think about that every time I watch it.
