Glad you liked this one! A couple fun facts: 1) They also performed this Live in Grand Central Station, NY on the Jimmy Fallon late show in early 2020 (just before the pandemic). 2) Jungkook hit an F5 (per a vocal teacher/reactor here on YT), which is amazing especially for a guy. He also shows that he Can hit that in a Carpool Karaoke with James Corden which is worth a watch (even if you don't like the host as many of us don't). 3) They used part of UCLA marching band, and also a gospel choir for some of the ad libs/backing for this one. You can hear them in Jungkook's part as well as at the end there. 4) This was filmed near Los Angeles. 5) There is a behind the scenes/making of that is also worth watching, likely on BANGTANTV channel. Thanks again - glad you are enjoying the journey.

He layers his vocals on top of the rapline and the other vocalists in over 140 songs as of last year, It's more than that now though. Each member has their own role they play in making BTS who they are its just this is were JKs part comes in to play the most.

jungkook in this song vocally is just crazy like when I first heard and him going as high as an f5 in full fucking voice according to a voice teacher I was just blown away. His bridge and adlibs killed it. The adlibs were mostly him too just crazy

It is hard to remember that JHope and Jimin were the only two with a dance background in the beginning. Look at all 7 now! They are all brilliant dancers and to date of this MV it was there most challenging and their favorite. Sienna Lalau choreographed this when she was 19 @_@ She is the one the camera zoomed in on in the very beginning. She also did the choreo for "Dionysus" and part of their "Butter" performance for the Grammys... among others. :) Sienna and The Lab were BTS' backup dancers for all of their "Permission to Dance" concerts in the US and she also danced with Hobi for his Lollapalooza set last July.

No one ever really reacts to the ON COMMENTARY FILM. BTS is not in it but it shows the recording of the marching band and gospel choir elements of the track in LA. They also interview some of the musicians, singers and producers who all have BIG respect for BTS and many are ARMY! It is a great watch but, as I say, BTS are not featured.💜

Their dancing along with the backup dancers and the UCLA band make this performance so good. Enjoyed your reaction! The acoustics were amazing when they played it at Grand Central Station on the Jimmy Fallon Show. The Behind the Scenes video with them on the subway and getting to the station and practicing is so informative. Jungkook was worried about hitting those high notes, but he did it there and in the James Corden Carpool Karaoke video, which, BTW, is really funny. 💜💜💜

I think you would really enjoy the "On Commentary Film" that shows the behind the scenes at the studio near UCLA where the UCLA band members and some additional singers came in and recorded for this song. It's the same studio that helped them out recording the "Dark & Wild" album while they were recording the TV show "American Hustle Life" in 2014.
