As a 43 years old metalhead from Finland who fell for Bts rabbithole 4 years ago, I allways appreciate people with metal background to go and explore new music. My road from Amaranthe, Children of bodom or Amorphis etc to Bts was a drastic fall, lol. Ive faced so much elitism with my metal friends after getting into Bts that people like you who can listen a so called pop band with unprejudiced mind is such a lovely to see. Ive never minded if people dont love the song, as long as they are respectful and willing to see that there might be talent in music that isnt their style still. Great work guys, keep going! A big part of Bts is their live shows, MMA 2019 is a great example, all tho it is a long one. 38 minutes for one band in an award show 👀

The girl at the beginning of the video is the choreographer of this song. Her name is Sienna Lalau and she was only 19 when she choreographed this song. The tattoo on V's face said the shadow like me, but it was fake. BTS have said ON is their hardest choreo to date and this is the first song they want to perform when they are able to perform in front of their fans again. Because this song came out right when covid started closing everything. It's J-Hope not Suga that helps the others with the choreography, but they have plenty of choreographers who they work with including their main choreographer Son Sung Deuk who has been with them since the beginning. This mv was filmed in Los Angeles and many BTS fans have gone to this exact location to recreate the dance. If you are interested there is another music video for ON that's completely different than this one. This one is more dance focused and the official music video is more storyline focused. BTS also performed this song at Grand Central Station in New York when they appeared on the Jimmy Fallon's show last year. They filmed in the middle of the night when no one was there.

I also want to mention that BTS recently covered Puff Daddy and Faith Evan's I'll Be Missing You which came out in the 90's in memory of the Notorious B.I.G. It's on BBC Radio 1's youtube channel if you want to check it out, they really did a beautiful job with it. Sting who wrote Every Breath You Take from which I'll Be Missing you was sampled from even retweeted their performance. I'm sure you have plenty of recommendations so there's no rush. BTS also covered Coldplay's Fix You back in February for their MTV Unplugged performance and even Coldplay said their cover was beautiful. I'm so happy you guys are watching BTS! I only have two request... Could you pause when you talk so you don't miss stuff and could you please turn on the captions? The only reason I ask is because they write a lot of their lyrics and that shows more of their talent and I would really love for you to know the extent of their talent beyond just singing and dancing. If you had the captions on you would have even had more love for the song.

I really think you'd appreciate this song even more if you had the subtitles on. They are extremely poetic and poignant. Guys! I just watched your BTS Ranking vids, Eps. 1 & 2. Loved them. Love how you guys are enjoying your journey down the BTS rabbit hole. Please, please, please! Don't talk so much, over the video! A comment, here and there is fine but please don't hold an entire conversation without pausing the video. You are missing so much when you're talking right through the transitions, for example, Jung Kook's solo. and the dance battle, right after Jimin throws the camera, skyward. You talked right through them andI know you didn't get the full effect and beauty of those " Wow", moments. I had to stop, right in the middle of watching Ep. 3, just to type this to you! Also, BTS's viewer demographics are not just younger teens. Don't feel out of place. Over 25% are an older crowd, over 30. I'm a 61 yr. old ARMY and feel blessed to be alive to witness BTS bring the world together with their music, during these very trying times! You also need to watch, Spring Day for a slower song, Black Swan and Blood Sweat and Tears for darker songs. Of course, you also need to watch their two other English language songs, Butter and Permission to Dance. Don't forget to turn on captions. Okay, back to Episode 3, now! Main Choreographer is Son Sung-deuk - been with them from the beginning 2013. J Hope is the Dance Leader and Main Dancer, Jimin is the other Main Dancer. Jungkook is the Main singer and at the center of most of their choreography, RM is the Group Leader, and Main Rapper. They have outgrown their K Pop category, you are correct. They are International Performance Artists. Also, the lyrics to this song are meaningful and makes the song even better. The main writers for this group are RM, Suga, and J Hope, and they also do production and composition, since their beginnings pre-debut, 2012. All the members have contributed songwriting for BTS. I personally don't like your numbers system, and I don't think you can officially rank this one with out knowing the lyrics. Like I said, please check out the lyrics then give it a fair ranking, because that is what sets them apart. This song also has another video that tells a story. Nice reaction! I‘m a metal fan myself and I had danced to Hip Hop, but I also love BTS. I discovered them 2016 due to my dancing, but I stayed because of their versatile music, deep lyrics and good messages, humor and crackhead behavior, humble personalities and their live performances. I especially love their b-sides and their more rap heavy, jazzy or R’nB-ish songs. There are more of us metalheads in the fandom as some people would expect but also many older fans. I‘m definitely not a teen anymore 😉 I would like to hear your opinion on their other songs. I don’t know where to start, they have many good songs and a HUGE discography 😅 maybe you could react to Butter, Not Today or Fake Love. Please turn on the CC, because BTS is known for their great lyricism in their korean songs. You cannot judge K-pop based solely on the song as K-pop is a whole package that includes, music, choreography (or performance), costumes, makeup, and video production. Plus with BTS, Lyrics are also important as they write/produce a lot of their own stuff and deal with many important subjects. You must always turn on CC or check out the lyrics separately, then judge the song. You also need to know that some of their songs/videos having a storyline so you may not understand what’s going on if you watch them out of order or don’t look for explanation videos after watching them. They have a whole BTS Universe containing multiple platforms so if you don’t follow everything it can get pretty hard to follow without explanations. Just watch their Blood, Sweat and Tears video to see what I mean, then look for explanation video and it will all fall into place. It’s very complex and intellectual. Good luck!

I'd recommend #Not today #Fake Love #Dope #Fire #DNA #Daechwita by Suga aka Agust D (Agust D is Suga's alias whenever he goes Solo for his Mixtapes) #Interlude :Shadow by Suga #Persona by RM #Joke by RM #MMA(MELON Music Award) 2019 Live performance its just AMAZING u guys definitely need to check this out its kinda long like 30-40 mins but we ARMYs are fine with it haha.... #MMA 2020 performance & #MMA 2018

Guys! I love your open-mindedness in just even taking the time to listen to BTS. However, if you are going to take into consideration the lyrics as part of your criteria then you need to turn on the subs, so you can actually know what the lyrics are saying. PLEASE TURN ON THE CAPTIONS!

You should turn on the caption so you all know the meaning of the lyrics.. BTS did all genre of music but perhaps only metal they not tried yet. I suggest you to rank the whole points of the song the music, lyrics, mv and their vocals itself and their performance. And only BTS have all of it. Personally they are very talented on their own. The lyrics so meanings full and their performs full of arts and many history in it. They written, produce their own music.. I'm so excited how you all ranks all BTS songs. Cos you all Profesional and hv a lot experience about music.. Keep going.. You did well.

I really hope you guys do turn on closed captions in the next video. If you're basing your rankings on the song alone and you don't have access to the meaning of the lyrics, it kind of detracts from the rankings. On the other hand I really enjoy your reactions.

Wow…going to try a few of your other BTS reactions, but am seriously hoping that you don’t always talk over the song throughout. This video is such a masterpiece..just have no idea how you could appreciate any of it while carrying on a whole continuous conversation the entire time. Whew.

Suga is not the choreographer, actually I'm toddler ARMY (😀) . I think they have choreographers. JHope helps the guys with choreo too. I fell down this BTS rabbit hole during quarantine. I have an eclectic taste in music but I'd never been interested in Kpop. I'm 56 years old and I just ordered my first merch. RM is my bias and all the others are my bias wreckers. Can't wait to play Hunger Games when it comes time to purchase concert tickets 🥰
@schafferable3 жыл бұрын
Suga is not a choregrapher. (He is a rapper, writer, producer, etc.) The girl at the beginning of the video that they close in on in the front line was the choreographer for this video. J-hope is the group's dance leader that runs a tight ship to keep them in line. J-hope was a street dancer that they taught to rap.
@Whyyougottabethisway3 жыл бұрын
Black Swan is another style from them -- the lyrics are definitely very important and speak about the fear of losing passion for (and the ability to create) the art you once loved. Also, Fake Love is a classic that every fan knows and holds dear. The video is part of an ongoing storyline so some of the imagery may be confusing. *If the music and lyrics are your scoring criteria, maybe turn on the CC so you understand the lyrics -- for songs like this, those are paramount. ;)

Guys, I’m a bit lat, but, please don’t talk across the MV! The beat, music, lyrics count. Stop the MV if you wish to talk when stuff is going on. The fact that it feels like it won’t matter since possibly it’s not in English won’t hold. Everything counts in these videos. Army would much more the video be halted and discuss what you want. Then resume . How can you give a rating when talking across it? Not arguing what you think about it, but your inattention was distracting. Also, lyrics count. As an ex dancer, this is one of my favorites, but that’s just me. I come with a background of knowing every note of Queen.
