Actually I interpret as some of their old-time fans turn back on them (some sasaengs who used to love them, but in the end... they are the ones they sells their information to other sasaengs). Yoongi once mentioned that an old-time ARMY in the DAUM cafe that BTS changed, their music changed. Yoongi replied to the ARMY that he is thankful to that ARMY constant support, if she really no longer likes BTS anymore, then it's time for her to move on. The ARMY swear at him in return. When J-hope mentioned fear, it reminds me of him and his sister being bashed and harrassed over the instagram.

I must have said this a million times but J-Hope's stage presence is INCREDIBLE... I became Jhope-biased after going to a BTS concert. I was stunned when he started popping while rapping his verse. I've not seen anyone else doing it like him. BTS's rapline is really top-tier, they are incredibly stable and powerful and sound BETTER than the studio version live. 방탄소년단 제이홉 #제이홉

This song is just it for me. Like the first time I heard it I was ready to give the song to RM when he came with that fast almost desperate sounding verse. But then Suga comes in with this vocals and that slow build to a rap and then drops that almost trace like line at the end of his verse... And then Hobi runs over you with that just killer verse where it sounds like he's literally ripping his heart out. And the wordplay between both tear (crying) and tear (rip) is just perfect. It is three types of pain. Sadness and regret from RM, anger and despair from Suga, and fear and trauma from Hobi. The rap line consistently amazes me though. The three of them approach their flows so differently and each of them have their own little quirks in their verses and it all comes together to create something special every single time.

What Suga meant about Dream, is that they were dreaming together, hitting goals and flying high together. Dreaming the same dream that held each other in mind. They painted each other in, both having plans for one another in the future. Think of it as someone outside the relationship asking you what your goals are together, do you see each other still doing well, living well. However, he woke up; he woke up to realize he had been the only one dreaming for them. The only one that painted a beautiful picture. A dream. At least that is how I concluded. But I'm sure others have their own thoughts in mind. All of the Love yourself Tear album have very deep meanings. Loving someone, but not loving them in the way you should because you don't even love yourself. So how can you love someone through and through? Changing and molding yourself to fit their dream, their wants, becoming a "Pretty doll" for them. Knowing the relationship is toxic, but you love them enough that you don't know how to let go. It can be traced back all the way to "House of cards" and so on. But everyone has their theories as we know some things aren't always about a girl, even though they use that as reference. BTS is one big deep abyss. Meanings on top of meanings, on top of meanings, lol. That is why I love them. They don't just write hits after burnt-out hits that mean absolutely nothing but "love in the club" and one night stands, and drugs. They mean so much in their songs. So much thought goes into everything they put out. Anyway, love the reactions as usual.

I knew you'd love it. I have been lucky enough to see this performed live twice...both times crazy good! You will never be the same after seeing them in concert. RM is like the commander...dominant and confident, Yoongi is all emotion and hunger, and JHope is all flow and swag. JHOPE is a born stage performer. They are great live. This song is from Love Yourself Tear album...easily one of their best. It's a juggernaut of amazing songs...every.single.one. could have been an hit single. This album is the 2nd in the Love Yourself series which is about the not so happy. Always perfect side of love. The song Fake Love was the lead single. Do yourself a favor...do a full album review. You're gonna love every song. I love you picked up the 3 mood/medsages. RM Tear as in crying tears for a lost love, Yoongi tear as in ripping out his heart, the pain and JHope fear of falling in love again because the ending is too painful. This is one of my favorite songs. Buy the whole album. I promise its worth it.

@@ashesAndsinder I attended Citifield for the Love Yourself Answer tour and I actually saw them twice on the Love Yourself Speak Yourself tour, froze on Day 2 in Chicago and went to Day 2 at Met Life to see Jungkook fly because he couldn't fly in the rain in Chicago. They wore the white outfits at Citifield and those gorgeous black Dior ones for the Speak Yourself tour. Have you had a chance to see them on tour yet?

I think we can all agree that BTS is meant to be on stage and they all come alive when they're performing, but theres a saying amongst armies that whoever your bias is, you'll leave concerts bias wrecked by jhope and his unbelievable stage presence will convert you :p If you get a chance in your own time, the most recent concerts bts did with outro:tear has them wearing custom dior outfits and jhope GOES OFF.

Finally Tear :-) Thank you for this reaction, and thank you for watching also the live performance. This particular one is from Seoul concert, it was the fist or one of the first time they performed it live, It was the beginning of "Love Yourself" tour. I've watched many many Tear fancams from different cities around the world from that tour and also from "Speak Yourself" 2019 tour and I would like to say that although I like that Seoul performance, I think there are better ones, you can literally see that in later performances they are more relaxed and even more powerful.

I'm pretty sure by now you know that this song was written by Yoongi around the time that they were struggling and were actually thinking about disbanding. Every word that seems like a break up (like Adam suggested) is actually a break up within themselves (as a band) not a break up with a girl. I don’t think too many army would disagree with me when I say that TEAR is probably the best rap line song ever. The lyrics, wordplay, the music and emotion all come together perfectly. J-Hope’s verse at the end is the ultimate catharsis of emotion that has been building in the song. One of his best verses period.

I know I'm late to the party but since break the silence came out the members told us that tear was written by rm, suga and jhope for the members when they were struggling and even considered disbanding. I think that is one of the reasons all of the 3 go all out on this song and you can feel the raw emotions from j hope in the outro of tear because the lyrics are about them. They also said that when they showed the members the song and listened to it together everyone cried. After hearing this, it's one of my most treasured song. This one and "sea". You should listen to it on youtube. It's not available anywhere and was orgingnally a hidden track on the physical cd of the album and while I'm sad I can't listen to it anywhere but youtube it is comforting that rm wrote this song about their hardships and that only people that need it and search for it will 'find it'. Be prepared, I always cry when I listen to it though. It cuts deep.

To me, each of the members speak about different feelings that come with parting ways. You're my tear --- RM speaks about the sadness of parting ways. You're my tear --- as in to get torn up about something, SUGA speaks about the pain and anger, the more aggressive/resigned feelings that come with goodbyes You're my fear --- JHope speaks of the trauma and regret that comes with it Outro:Tear is probably one of my top faves from them---amazing, coming from someone who used to not listen at all to rap (Hamilton got me started, then BTS just pulled me in). I think I could write a whole ass dissertation about the lyrics of this song 😂😂😂

Honestly, when the album is out, i don't hear this song coz i thought i am not really into rap too much. But after seeing love yourself concert in theater, this song with this performance is one of the best thing i saw. Love so much untill now. And i really appreciate you for loving my rapline. I was fortunate to see this performance live twice. Once at the Citifield concert and again at MetLife stadium and both times was so AMAZING!!!!! If you ever get the chance to go to a BTS concert, it will definitely ruin all other concerts for you, but in a good way. Their performances and the vibe of being with other ARMYs is something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Keep up with the great reactions!!!

Not going to lie the second those green lights came on at the concert I would have already started ugly crying. The raw energy and emotion of the rap line always overwhelms me. Like when I watched Jhopes' solo boy meets evil and I just cried for no reason. They have always provoked strong emotional responses from ARMY.

When you listen to the album in order it follows Trivia: Seesaw which is about a couple's "seesaw kind of relationship. It's a relationship that's falling apart and in Tear, it looks like they finally decided to end it cause they keep tearing each other apart. Then comes Epiphany, a self-realization that you need to love yourself first before anyone else does and before you can love another one.

'I'm getting like a break-up vibe..' Yeah, this is what happens when you listens to songs from diff albums. BTS' albums are thematic. So, Outro: Tear is from the album Love Yourself - Tear, which is all about being hurt by love. It's a monster album and every song builds on the previous one.... That's why when ARMYs first heard this song, there was no confusion.

I really love the music for this which comes from the BTS Highlight reels. The strings build up in a swelling crescendo which really plays on our emotions . Together with the stellar rapping it's guaranteed to rip your heart out every time.

Imo, Tear is one of the most heartbreaking songs ever. This song is connected to The Truth Untold and Fake Love in album Tear. They’re about BTS’s story behind the Highlight Reel videos. There’s a story of the smeraldo flowers about an ugly man hiding his love towards a girl because he couldn’t face her with his true face. Eventually the girl died without knowing about his love. My interpretation is that Outro Tear is about both the parting between BTS and the girls in Highlight Reel and the parting among the boys themselves during the HYYH era. Both happened because the boys kept their dark secrets inside and couldn’t unmask themselves.

Watching BTS live is way better than just experiencing it thru screen they get really hype up and it gets better with the fanchant too. Their concert is the most amazing experienced I’ve ever had in my entire life. You guys seriously have to attend their next tour! Also 3 main cities that they stop at are LA, Chicago, and Newark. But last year they had a stop at Texas & Canada
