people only say rm and jin aren’t skilled dancers because they’re literally being compared to members who have danced their whole lives. they can dance for 2 hours straight perfectly during concerts, they’re VERY skilled. people just scrutinise their dancing even though the average person could never keep up with jin or rm on stage

@Sousou Sirine @@panabees7 Suga actually did bboying before the accident that caused his long-term shoulder injury. That injury, not his skill, has hindered him since before BTS debuted. Imagine spending 9+ years dancing at BTS' level with a torn shoulder that never quite healed before finally getting surgery done last year. V took lessons in dance and singing as a child because he dreamed of being a performer. His teachers didn't see his potential but BigHit obviously did. After JHope, he is the fastest at learning new choreography & also remembers the old choreographies the best. Not a lot of KPop "visuals" get time in the center of dance performances (how often did we cry over neglected Jin & how excited do we now get to see "center Jin" finally getting more of a role?) but V has rotated into that position quite often starting from Dark & Wild on. I would even suggest he was there at least as often as JHope who, despite being dance leader, seemed to get shuffled to the back more and more often in favor of showing off the maknae line as they progressed through the School Trilogy & HYYH. Jungkook wanted to be a dancer, not a singer, when he joined BTS. BigHit even sent him to train for dance in the US (he was very technical & just needed to learn to be expressive) and he ended up being an official part of the dance line at debut. He was called the Golden Maknae cause he was good at everything from the start: rapping, singing, AND dance. THREE J is the dance line because they have the most natural talent & or training but that does not mean all other members had no training prior to their 16+hour days as trainees or that they had less potential to be or aren't skilled.

I get sad everytime someone is not seeing his hardwork and effort. Altho he's not as good as the other members (like jhope and jimin coz obviously they're alrdy dancing be4 they joined bts, have some common sense) but his dance skill is enough to cope up with bts choreo like if you watch their old dance practices and stuff, it was hard asf and the fact that he learned dancing from zero amazes me and appreciate him so much. Remember when he covered for Yoongi during an ON dance break perf for an award show? He may not be as good as the dance line but he can keep up. The fact that Jin till this day keeps up with BTS choreographies (which we ALL know is NO joke) every single one of them he always delivers and even when BTS in their earlier days would play the random dance game Jin NEVER messed up no matter how the tempo of the song was or how fast they kept on switching songs even his position he always got it right he has an amazing muscle memory and he literally only started dancing in his early 20s a lot of people with no background dancing experience wouldn’t be able to pull it off. We have no need to concede anything. Because lots of people like to pick on Jin. Bullies pick their target, subconsciously thinking he’s a softie. You have him completely wrong. Jin couldn’t have become who he is today - critically-acclaimed vocals, perfectly executed moves on stage, super poised and witty whether facing tricky interview questions or on shows - he’s the toughest, most grounded entertainer out there. And that’s all on top of being Bangtan’s emotional center. Jin truly is what analysts call the magic that holds the team together and makes it all work.

Neither did rm so when u look and someone like him in comparison, yes he isn't gonna be like that but Jin can definitely dance his ass off. Both him, rn, and sugar can dance really well. Their concert tickets are reasonable for the greatest group in the world. The most expensive was between $200.00 - $450. Whatever the cost, it’s worth every dime , nickel and penny you pay for it. Seokjin deserves a better fandom, you are all being shady in the comment section, Seokjin being a "bad dancer" is a stereotype started by his company and enforced by the other members and his own fandom, for what reasons we can all just speculate, I mostly believe it's the way of the company to promote others and because the members can't read a room nor crack inoffensive jokes for the life of them, armys are just bottom of the barrel so no need for an explanation there. But no one who watches their performances for the first time ever thinks he's lacking, they only learn to think that way when they repeat what the fandom has spread. You are all under the impression that having no experience equals having no talent, Seokjin started fresh and exceeded expectations. The comment if Seokjin can do it, anyone can too is the most delusional thing I've heard this week, he has more talent in his little finger than you all have combined between all of you. You sit there reacting for a living while he's a multitalented millionaire. And everyone in the comment section suddenly being a dance coach are just as bad. Seokjin never makes mistakes in fact he's the one with fewer mistakes on stage, Seokjin never exaggerates the moves, they are clean, precise and sharp, he's never lazy, and he always looks good dancing, you all seem to think smirking at the camera, sticking your tongue out and being all over the place is good dancing, some idols do this in the hope of gaining attention, big hard movements are okay but they tend to look sloppy. He's been doing the same choreography for years and you still act as he has been just keeping up, the truth is that he has been underutilized nothing else, he's flexible, graceful and knows taekwondo none of these abilities have been utilized, it's not a lack of ability but opportunity. And don't you dare say he himself has said this and that, because learning at a slow pace only makes me see him as a perfectionist it says absolutely nothing about his skills. And using his vulnerable moments of self-doubt as an excuse as to why you are always looking for weaknesses in his dancing just makes you a horrible person, every single member has had those moments but none are used against them later, maybe we should talk about vocals, but then I would be called an anti for pointing out weaknesses some of the other members have vocally. If you all were, to be honest, and objective you would see how some in the group move lazily, some move like they are having a seizure and some make mistakes every single comeback, but because he's more modest and doesn't exaggerate his stage presence he's the one singled out. The only way to truly compare them as dancers are to give them all the same amount of centre time, some groups tend to rotate their centre, not all the time but at least enough to linger on some of the members that aren't the usual centre, give him challenging choreo, let him shine and then we can all have this conversation again. You were like this about his vocals too, always talking about them until he surpassed almost every member vocally and you are all still bitter about it, the most critically acclaimed member by experts and the grammy panel. I wonder if when he does get the opportunity and you are suddenly struck with the realization that he's actually a good dancer, I wonder if you will shift the attention to something else, perhaps his looks? oh, right you already try to come for that, shady envious gremlins!

I respect your opinions but I hope you give more credit to Jin when it comes to dancing. He have worked hard not only from his trainee days but up until now to be a better performer. People may focus on the dance line but I do believe that Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon's talent in dancing is underrated too. This fandom has pushed dumb narratives, when Jin himself was a good dancer in debut, enjoyed it as well and said his specialty is dance in interviews. He rarely makes any mistakes on stage, one of the least actually. Has great body and dancing advantages (flexible, great stamina and high jumpes/strengths and disadvantages like anyone. He has great muscle memory and is very technical, learning a dance earlier like u Said won’t make u a bad dancer, it’s like leaning for a test some might even get better results. He didn’t just get randomly better, you just never payed him enough attention and I’m very sure never watched his fancams.

Jin looks so good when he dances. His long legs, his god like body, his expression (both body AND face). I prefer his style, it’s really clean and precise. He looks fcking amazing when he dances. Seokjin is so talented. He has a very good performance in singing, dancing, songwriting, MC and even acting. I love the way he is. He is the least pretentious and most sincere member of the team. And he almost never made mistakes on stage, which has surpassed the performance of many members. A lot of Korean professional dance coaches praised his performance, and we all saw it.

That's an interesting conversation I also would've liked to join while It's true jin and rm are weak at dance compared to other BTS members but they are only weak if you compare them to other BTS members otherwise their dance level is WAY ABOVE NORMAL if you guys saw Dionysus and ON you get gist of how hard BTS dischoreographys are but they keep up with it and BTS dance line is like kpops one of top best dance line so if you compare jin and rm to jk, hobi and Jimin then the dance line will definitely overshadow them because the dance line is out of the world level also if you guys are taking requests I would like to request ddaeng by Bts rapline and BTS room live your friends gonna like them keep up the good work

Jin graduated from Konkuk University with an acting degree. He had to participate in plays and musicals where he gained experience with dancing AND singing. The others have a few months and some years of experience too but Jin's been going to college since 2013. I don't know why people don't like bringing it up. Probably cause it don't fit their agendas. CONCERT TICKETS ARE NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS YOU THINK. IT'S ABOUT THE FIGHT TO GET TICKETS AT THE BEST SEATS THAT IS HARD. I love that you guys are always honest and i understand that you dont have any ill intentions, but the Jin comment, even to me who’s rarely offended, is a bit off putting. I first recognised BTS because of suga’s mixtape which i love. But i really became a fan of them after i did some research about their background and their dedication to their work, and Jin impressed me the most out of everyone, and him to me is a huge inspiration. Imagine being in your 20s, being the oldest in the group, randomly being picked up and being thrown into a situation where your younger groupmates all have their own expertise and experience in either music or dance. He had zero experience in both. Imagine how much that would hurt your ego and confidence, how much pressure he had to endure, having to work 10 times harder than most of the members. Plus the hardships that BTS as a group had to endure in the industry, I think most people would’ve quit if they were in Jin’s position. And he made it. When i first watched BTS i never even considered that he had no background in dancing or singing. He worked so hard that he became superb in his performances and matched his fellow groupmates. His hardwork and dedication is what’s special about him and it is what we all should aspire to have. He’s a tough cookie and he deserves the respect.
