BTS RM shared a heartfelt Lunar New Year message on Weverse, revealing that he had shaved his head again and was feeling jealous of Jin and Jhope, who have already completed their military service.
BTS leader Kim Namjoon, aka RM, recently took to Weverse to share a heartfelt Lunar New Year message, revealing that he had shaved his head again and was feeling a little jealous of Jin and J-Hope, who are now enjoying their post-military life. In response, Jin playfully commented, "I envy you, sergeant," while J-Hope encouraged him, saying, "There's really not much left!! We'll be there soon!! Fighting!! Our Namjoon!!"
Their words reassured RM, and ARMYs soon flooded Weverse with comforting messages for their beloved leader, reminding him that the wait was almost over.
RM, who is currently serving in the military, shared that he had been promoted to sergeant and humorously acknowledged that his journey was still ongoing. Reflecting on Jin and J-Hope’s return to civilian life, he wrote, "I'm still jealous and glad to see the two members (Jin and J-Hope) come out and cheer up. Civilians are the best."
He also expressed that there were many things he wished to say but couldn't at the moment. However, he assured fans that when the time was right, he would share his thoughts in his own way.
The rapper will officially be discharged on June 10, 2025, which coincides with BTS' debut anniversary. Until then, he plans to stay active by exercising, playing musical instruments, and watching movies on weekends.
To mark his promotion, RM shaved his head once again, sharing a picture on Weverse. He humorously noted that the photo he posted was actually taken before the haircut. Following RM’s post, ARMYs flooded Weverse with words of encouragement, urging him to stay strong and reminding him that the remaining months would pass quickly. Many commented, "Hang in there, Kim Namjoon! You’re almost home!" while others reassured him that they were eagerly waiting for his return.
Despite his time in the military, RM’s artistic influence continues. His documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, was showcased at the 29th Busan International Film Festival last year. The film gives a deeper insight into the making of his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, exploring themes of identity, love and passion for music.
