I grew up in Colombia, specifically in Bogotá, and I was surprised how the school grounds, building, classrooms, gym, store, cafeteria, activities and banter between students was so similar to Jin’s school at the other side of the world! Very interesting!

really sweet and wholesome tidbit--this was circulating on twitter when episode 2 dropped. there's like a community forum for the school/students or something and some of the kids who wer in the episode wrote how jin was so good at trying to include everyone into the fun, like how during the arm wrestling bit, he was calling in some of the more quiet/shy kids and getting them to laugh too. there was some other students who uploaded their fancam of when jin was walking down the halls saying hi to them too and you could hear kids yelling out "hyung!!!" "so handsome!!!!" "ily!!!" LOL as an adult competing with kids in this setting, i think it'd be so easy to behave in away that draws a strong divide of "i'm an adult, you all are children, so i am better and will go easy on you" etc etc, but i think jin is so good at making this kind of balance of like "hi yes im an adult im 33 don't forget that" but also "i am approachable, i will be competitive and won't go easy on you, pls don't be intimidated being around me". like he is their friend to as much of the healthy extent that an adult can be to a kid without it being weird thanks for the reaction as a always yall!

I have to disagree a bit with Summer about Jin. He is actually a HUGE introvert, as opposed to someone who seeks out people (maybe he does 1:1, but not in groups like this). So these episodes where he is dealing with large groups of people are probably really hard for him, but his other strengths of competitiveness and humor, and his quirky mix of self-confidence and self-deprecation are what make him really good at this. But his introversion is what makes how good he is at this even more remarkable. You know that he has to try really hard to make these episodes entertaining, and his many years in Run BTS have honed his skills immeasurably. 😀

Yeah it’s really fun to see a different side to introversion when looking at Jin. It’s something people can confuse about introversion/extroversion. It’s about social battery, not social skills ❤

I'm less of an extrovert than people think - I'm just very social. Jin is good at this sort of thing and an excellent entertainer, so I get why people would make the assumption, but he's such an introvert really. It's fun seeing him goof off with kids this age. 😂

Episode 2 wasn’t recorded first - episode 1 was recorded like 1 or 2 days immediately after his discharge. This one was recorded only a bit after that (can’t remember exactly when, but we knew about it because the students posted a ton of pictures…lol).

Jin not only went back to his high school, he went back to his old class when he was attending, that must be the most fun day for the boys in that class - super bragging rights for those boys. I love how Jin is so competitive yet always mindful of the safety of the boys. Jin relates so well with people no matter the age, the concept of Run Jin fits in so well with his personality and temperament.

Their age - these are high school freshmen, the show calls them 17 but is definitely using Korean age. They're about 15 international. The reason they all look different ages is because kids at 15 can look anywhere from 12 to 20 🤣🤣🤣
