And ARMYs have been telling new ARMYs not to buy Jk pictures or support her but they said shes not problematic and have 1M followers on twitter. Recently she has been EXPOSED (that b deserve). She was calling Jungkook "psycho" or "I will beat Jungkook like a dog" fr a screenshot of a gc where the gc members are all fansites (the one who outed Headliner is a Jimin fansite who had a fight with Headliner bc Headliner was saying bad things about Jimin). Headliner was also racist as fck. Like shes soooo problematic but the one where she got exposed recently takes the cake and so her acc is closed. But I know shes making a new acc and still selling illegal picture of Jungkook. I hope someday BigHit will take action and ban or blacklist Headliner so she wont get near to BTS ever again.

This is one of the reasons I got out of watching/listening to KPOP in the late 2000s, the craziness that follows idols. Some comments I see on twitter and other places seem crazy to me. The way "fans" talk about the idols like their children or property is gross. I still listen to my old favorites like Super Junior and Girls Generation but BTS's Save Me was what got me back in. I found their music when my daughter was diagnosed Autistic and I was have a hectic time trying to get Dr.'s appt. and therapy set up. It was overwhelming and the BTS bombs and online shows would get me to forget my troubles and laugh. That's why I'm such a BTS fan.

BigHit is doing their best now but in earlier years they couldn't really afford bigger security. The biggest problem is that while in America people take personal rights seriously, in Korea even authorities say that all this comes with being an idol and you need to deal with it if you are famous. And they say these are fans as well, most of the time underaged so they can't punish them. So unless this way of thinking changes, the saeseng problem won't go away. It's disgusting and dangerous but celebrities don't get help from the authorities.

I just copy & pasted this so you can see the girl they kept adding is not the Mia one, lol. In 2012, Morris took part in a contest held by Justin Bieber, who was looking for someone to create a "Girlfriend" song to go with his hit single "Boyfriend." Morris' submission, a three-minute parody video of "Boyfriend" called "Girlfriend," portrayed Morris as a super-committed, super-jealous girlfriend. The video resonated because of its funny lyrics, but also because Morris sang most of her song without blinking, staring into the camera the entire time. She became the overly attached girlfriend meme.

He told me all kinds of stories, but one of them was that he had to change his private cellphone number at least once a month, because every other crazy fan has either a relative or friend who works for a telecom company (i.e. like verizon, t-mobile etc). So they find out their favorite celebs phone number right away, even when they change it, and keep calling them. Now THAT’s what you call a “Saseng” fan.

The ''creepy'' girl was actually a big meme back in the day. The girl, Lina created a parody song, named ''Overly attached girlfriend'', she was basically just having fun, but someone took the screenshot of her (as you saw in the video) and made a meme. That's how everything started... She became the most viewed KZbinr, continuing with the role she created for herself as an overly attached creepy girlfriend, but as everything has their expiration date so did her videos. The channel died out and she officially quit her youtube journey. Still, the meme picture remains...it became legacy lol

Current security for BTS is the best of any Idol group. During airport walks at incheon (the worst place for Idols as an airport) BTS security forms a wall between BTS and the fans, and even then the fans are so aggressive and trying so hard to push thru the guards that Jin recently went on weverse (a bts and army direct connect chat) asking people to be more respectful of them in airports. They also fly in private jets whenever possible, they live in an extremely well guarded housing area. Big Hit will rent out an entire floor for BTS at hotels and have the floors guarded off so the boys can walk around without worries. When they want to explore new areas alone while touring, they have a security team for each member.

JK did mention sasaeng's during one of his Vlives when he got a call from a number he didn't know. He said, paraphrased here, that he gets a lot of random calls from strange numbers that he immediately blocks and it's annoying he needs to constantly change numbers due to them. It's sickening to watch any of their arrival/departure videos since you can clearly see girls following them with their phones inches away and the boys try to act normal throughout the entire process. It's so much different than in the US where it's perfectly okay to tell someone to eff off but idols need to maintain their clean cut image at all times.

You have to remember the Korean culture is different from ours....and in Korea the fans see the idols as theirs, personally. They get criticized if it is revealed that they are dating, (think this "You must appear available, but never be available.) BTS isn't the only group that has Saesangs...all of them do...some get jobs at the phone company or cable company just to get the address and phone numbers and than sells that info to other Saesangs. They find out what flight they are on and book the same flight no matter where they are going. I have read about Saesangs are able to get into their apartments and hide behind things or steal items. I have even seen a letter where it was written with their own blood. Some of these Saesangs go from obsessed to just plain crazy. During j hopes birthday this past February, they were in the states. The guys came to j's room to celebrate. All of this was on a V Live. When everyone came into the room the camera picked up someone opening the door. At first everyone watching thought it was some random girl who found their rooms. But it was someone who worked for them. Saesangs are dangerous and some are are getting worse. As for the American Saesangs there isn't any explanation for them.
@blackwaves18844 жыл бұрын
I often see K-pop fans in other countries misinterpreted Korean fan culture or exaggerate Korean fan's mistakes. In Korea, K-pop idols are not blamed at all for having a lover. If there is anyone who criticizes them in Korea, the person will be the target of criticism. Blood letters were practiced in ancient Korean times with an oath of loyalty to the king or an promise that he would not break. It is true that blood letters is a very abhorrent act today. In Korea, however, as in other countries not surprised. This is a cultural difference by tradition. Also, I've heard of a fan who wrote a letter in his own blood 15 to 20 years ago when he was a first-generation K-pop idol, but I've never heard of it these days. In addition, it is groundless false rumors that a saseang fan landed a job at a telecommunications company to get a BTS phone number. I don't belong to any fan club, but I like many aspects of BTS so I look it up a lot. Korean fans don't even regard Korean stars as their own. For example, Korean ARMYs share and praise each other on KZbin and Twitter everything ARMYs around the world have done for BTS. Korean ARMYs appreciate their contributions and consider themselves BTS of ARMYs around the world. On the one hand, celebrity agencies cannot ignore Korean fans because they are based in Korea and work with the help of Korean experts until their work is created. Also, This is because if Korean fans turn their backs on them, it will be difficult for them to work in Korea, and it is often difficult for them to succeed only through overseas activities while abandoning the brand of K-pop. As a Korean, I am ashamed of Korea's saseang fans, but saseang fans are everywhere in the world. Korean celebrity fans from other countries were blocked from trying to move into the next house of a Korean star, or have been sneaked into an entertainer's house several times. The women in the Vlive video at BTS were their employees, but the video of the women in the hotel who appeared to be other saseang fans were Japanese. The girls, who secretly wore Jimin's stage costumes and took photos with the help of staff hired there, were also Japanese. Koreans who have heard the news through reporters are equally bewildered by overseas fans. This is a problem for those who put their false obsession into action, not just for certain national fans. Above all, will BTS, who has been around the world and experienced saseang fans, agree with you? I don't think so.

In defence of the management, those cases were from many years back, none recent cases. Nobody expected BTS to get so popular and have these crazy fans swooping on them. Bts want to move around like normal people too. But I supposed a normal life is not possible anymore. Things are different now. Bts dont take any more photos with fans or anyone, not because they are snobs but to protect people - anyone on a photo with bts will get a lot of hate, plus any photo will pop up on social media instantly, revealing the boys' whereabouts and create a security issue. Security at the airport is now top notch. There are more security personnel protecting them compared to any other stars, politicians or royalty.

This is one of the reasons bts now fly either first class or they take a private jet

the sad thing is that bts don't even have the worst sasaengs. there have been much more severe cases that have had idols hospitalized and left them traumatised. it's just bloody terrible how some kpop stars have been treated so inhumanly just because of their status and who they are.

Some sasaengs even have their personal phone numbers and call them at all hours of the day. Once in a vlive, I believe Jin or Jungkook got a phone call and it was from a sasaeng. This, unfortunately, doesn't just happen to BTS but to other idols as well. It's a toxic behavior that's kind of similar to paparazzi behavior in the states.

There are worse cases out there in Korea. Korean fans are known to be quite passionate, and some have caused car accidents on highways due to them hiring taxis to chase after them. Some send idols period blood as a way to show love and affection. Some camp outside the buildings of where idols stay. Some have bugged idols and recorded them in private conversations. It's really crazy

If you like BTS you would definitely like WINNER who just released a really dope MV 'SOSO. And they have a rapper Mino who released a solo album out last year and included a song that targeted Saesangs

"They're not even safe on an airline" Tell that to the girl group Twice. Not only did a vicious sasaeng (who has had a post history of saying that fans have the right to kill an idol if that idol turns down the person) get on the same plane as Twice and tried to get close to them, but one of the members had their passport info leaked to the public... By an airport EMPLOYEE!!!

The one with the girl that trying to kiss Suga was not included? That was a crazy one. Also I don’t know how they get their personal numbers but the seasang fans do call them nonstop too. Crazy peeps.

Actually BTs security is getting better, in the usa the security is way better than in korea idk why but airport security in south korea us defective... in other countries (such as uk france canada..) armys makes strict rules about not going to airports (in france for example, just 3/5 went but bts didn’t even came out so we were so happy) and bts actually go out of the airport by a private exit.

Aside from the subject at hand in this video, since you liked V’s song Singularity so much, might I suggest you listen to his other song Stigma? It’s got very RnB/jazzy vibes to it so I think you’d like it😊

This video only talks and shows just a small fraction of what really goes on. There's way more than this craziness
