BTS Shine Spotlight on the United Nations as Envoys of the President of the Republic of Korea

BTS, the global sensation behind “Permission to Dance” and other megahits, brought their spotlight to the United Nations as the Republic of Korea’s Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture.
BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook participated in the UN’s SDG Moment, designed to call attention to the Sustainable Development Goals. The BTS members, along with the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, spoke with the UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, Melissa Fleming, about their commitment to helping advance progress through the United Nations.
The SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy health, peace and prosperity.

How is that humbling himself? He's a proud native South Korean, speaking his native language, while doing his job as an ambassador/diplomat of South Korea. There's absolutely *no* reason for Ambassador Kim to speak English, while on duty, any more than there's a reason for him to speak Spanish or Japanese (just because he *can*) while representing S. Korea. I'm sure that when he is traveling as RM of BTS on a work visa with his regular passport, he will continue to do as the band has done in the past and speak the language of those with whom they are visiting, as much as they are able to.

I can't imagine how proud their parents were for having given birth to such a wonderful child. a child from an ordinary family but has now been able to make an extraordinary influence not only in Korea but also the world. this is evident from those who do not have a purpose in life but because of BTS they have found a real purpose in life. honestly I'm very proud to be an army and will remain an army forever! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
