If any of y'all are wondering what the actual songs are about, they sort of tell a story The first two, Just Dance and Euphoria, are about how like when you meet someone and are happy The second two, Serendipity and Love, are about how you love them even if there's some insecurity (like 'just LET me love you' or 'IF it's love i will love you') The third two, Singularity and Seesaw, as well as Fake Love at the end, are about how it just falls apart while you try and cover yourself up trying to be a person you're not. lots of masks here The last solo, Epiphany, is about how you're the one you should love in this world, not so perfect, but so beautiful; that self-love is needed before you can love someone else love yourself btw, and have a good day/night

For once I'm seeing something interesting trending #1 in US and I actually enjoyed it a lot. I've heard of BTS before (my niece is a fan and went to their concert here) but I haven't seen any performance till now. Really good dancers, on point vocals and unique style.

And they help write/compose/produce their own music (which is probably why their live performances are better than those that just have the music handed to them). They actually care about the song they are singing/performing. Fun fact: the guy in the green jacket (stage name 'RM') wrote four of these songs. And the guy in the white satin suit wrote and produced that song and is part of the Korean Music Copyright Association because of the sheer number of songs he's composed/produced. As a person in their 30s who has become a bit jaded with popular music nowadays, BTS has been a breath of fresh air. Their music is dynamic and talks about more than just romantic love (like depression/anxiety, social inequality, materialism, etc.). Thanks for the great comment and observations! :D

Let's face it, BTS is the only reason why I watch any type of show these days, it could be a music show or an award show, it could be asian or western, I don't care, I am here to support BTS because so far in my 31 years of life I have never seen an artist like them. They have passion and they do not waste my time, the lyrics are good they guys are charismatic and humble but also educated. I’ve always been more into older music, artists I can’t no longer see live because they’ve passed away or disbanded, so when I would see videos of their performances I’d think “how lucky were those people to be alive at that time”. The amount of positive comments here about BTS, regardless of knowing or not knowing them well is overwhelming, because I haven't seen people's reactions be this good in a while.. It makes me so happy to think that people of all ages and genders are liking their performances and/or their music. I've been scrolling and saw a 30 year old man talk about his love for them, more than one boy who are still in school talking about understanding why so many girls like them, and even a wife talk about how she and her husband, being in their 30s, think they are amazing. I am going to help you get to know these talented humble men. BTS is a group of 7 men. 3 rappers+4 vocals. They are the very first korean act number 1 on Billboard 200. They mostly wrote their own songs. They have so many genres. since i don't know what your favorite genres, so i will recommend you some songs. RnB: Singularity or House of Cards. Dance/Elecronic: DNA or Best of Me. Ballad: Truth Untold or sea or Epiphany. Rap: Outro TEAR or DDAENG or Cypher. BTS wrote songs about todays' issues that are considered taboos in korea. In an industry like kpop where everything is being controlled like robot and manufactured, BTS is unique as they got their freedom like writing their own songs etc. Which is why you often heard that they are one of (if not) the most popular kpop rn. What i like about BTS? I love their talents, humbleness, and mostly the story behind every songs. It's their whole discography from the very beginning of their carrer tells a story. A story of their journey that reflects the Journey of a lot of people. That's why they are so popular. They able to touch and change a lot of lives. It's not just a one time waterfall. Their message is a continuous constant dripping that sips to the heart of those who listens to each songs. So to sum it. Maybe it's not just the lyrics. It's the story and the message that comes with it that makes them special. I can compare other artists as a poem. Beautiful and impactful. But BTS is a whole ass novel.
