What a great end to RM week! Lol there was actually a fairly long break after this episode and so we made a lot of jokes about how suga created a show just to drink with his bestie on company dime/sponsorship and then dipped. But as you've seen they eventually upgraded the show with a new set (episode 2 had the new setup) and have had many amazing guests and all the members of course. So glad you've decided to watch them all! Looking forward to it!

Thanks guys for the reaction! Their interaction hits very differently. They have been together for the longest and they are both largely responsible for all of BTS’ discography. And happily, when Indigo was released, it was the highest charting album on Billboard by a Korean soloist in history and every song on the album was in the top 100 global Spotify song list. There was a joke that went viral over Twitter because Indigo was #7 as the most streamed artist on Spotify that day and the whole band was #8 and that RM had ended BTS 😂. ARMYs are so unserious. I’m glad that the album did so well, clearly he put his heart and soul into it. Edit: I will confirm that there are many things you are missing in translation because it is so hard/impossible to translate. RM especially is very playful with his words like with the distinction in Korean between child and adult, the puns, and his wordplay…yeah it’s not normal, I really wish everyone understood Korean just to appreciate his genius. When they mention 40 degree on the alcohol, it means 40% ABV (Alcohol By Volume), which means 80 proof in the US. Other countries don't use the term "proof", just ABV. Mostly US uses the term "proof" now, but even US don't use them much anymore because they don't require to have that on the label.

The 2nd episode was actually with Jin but it was only released during festa. That's why ARMYs know that his episode is coming because the bottle of alcohol that they drank and signed after was on display. Hope you can watch it next. Although the remaining episodes with the other members are all wonderful. For the members age wise, Namjoon is actually in the middle. He's the maknae of the hyung line. It's hard to pick a fave friendship duo/trio in BTS since they're all so beautiful in their own unique ways but I have a special soft spot for the Namgi friendship. Maybe it's because Yoongi was my first bias and the person who led me to BTS (so I'm forever in his debt) and Namjoon is my current bias (not because I have a fave member but because I relate to him the most). It's also adorable that Yoongi will not hesitate to remind anyone with a pulse that he and Namjoon have been together for [insert number of years] every single year. He seems really proud of their long-lasting friendship. I could listen to them talk about life and music all day honestly. So glad you did this one.

Not sure how much you gusy are aware about asian culture but most asian cultures sit on the floor most of the time but especially for food. Youll notice in many of their earlier videos that BTS will all gather n sit on a table not dissimilar to the one in this ep. Also a fact i recently learnt, when people in korea move somewhere new or celebrate an event they give out rice cakes (it happens a lot in kdramas) so its very traditional and fitting that Yoongi had some rice cake prepared for his first episode. It so touching to see them maintain traditions in such a modern and different setting

Yes. The first show didn't have a permanent set yet. This was kind of a test run of the show to see if it worked. Suga even said in the show he didn't know if there would be a second episode. But yes, it worked. So they created the permanent set you saw with Jimin and JK. And the show went on. Note: The first time I saw BTS was on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight show. February 24, 2020. BTS debuted "On" at Grand Central Station in New York City. I had never heard of them before. I was overwhelmed. And being a choreographer, I KNEW what it took to pull off that performance. I looked BTS up on KZbin and have watched them every day since then. So here is how that relates to this show. The very next day, February 25, 2020,... after a Very Successful display of that Magnificent Masterpiece BTS found out everything was cancelled. So they literally were High on a Mountain...then came crashing down the very next day. I don't think you've ever watched their NYC performance. It comes after spending a whole day with Jimmy touring NYC. Playing games on the Subway. Their first subway ride. They served food at the very famous NY deli, Katz's. Then, they got to sit down and eat their famous pastrami sandwich. Then their "On" performance. It was a great NY day with Jimmy! I hope you take time and watch their whole day in NYC. See below.

So happy you watched the very 1st episode! This was the only time they had the couch set up. Loved the conversation and seeing it in such a long time! Loved it! I too noticed RM said IF and got scared and now I’m okay. Lol. I found out that they record a much longer (maybe 2hrs?) so they have time to drink and eat and then edit the best parts into the show. I could be wrong with 2 hrs but I’m so grateful to RM and all the members. This kind of makes me sad since Suga has maybe left for the military and lately so called fans are bothering RM.
