The hell with apology, he didn't even needed to apologize, the recent CCTV footage clarified all allegations, and it was just a small e-scooter which even if collided with someone would do nothing but a bruise or few scratches, apparently the place he fell was in front of the gate of his own house. Yet they unnecessarily blew it as he committed a hit and run case pathetic, k-media and k-netz are truly sick.

@@skullsoul3517 yes, that cannot be denied but that would most likely be in a case of speed driving, however in the speed he was going there was most likely no chance of such incidents even if there was it could've been easily controlled as he was going slow. Moreover, the whole issue was about defamation, false accusations and yet the victim had to apologise. In a normal case, for such an incident no one would've bat an eye and just go about their day.

He was just drunk, and close to his house on an Ebike🤣😂, and Korea puts that in the same category as drunk driving in a car🤣😂🤣?!!! That's ridiculous to me. I live in the US in California, and we have way more ebikes than Korea. Ebikes are in the same category as bicycles, and then there are classes, like class 1, and 2 class you don't need a helmet, and class 3 and 4 you need a helmet, and if drunk your driver's license isn't taken away because it's an Ebikes. You don't even need a drivers license to drive one. You just have to be 16 yrs old depending on your state. Any property damage done while driving is penalized depending on a case by case basis. Suga would not have been fined nor arrested, much less had his licensed suspended and nor community service!! It's ridiculous to me, and way much to harsh poor guy. I have my opinions and I'm sticking to it. I'm blaming the Korean law because that is to unjust. Have a great day☺️

A lot of people found out their local laws that it was illegal to ride a bicycle or operate any vehicle when over the legal limit because of this incident. Oh, and people do illegal stuff all the time, especially traffic violations like speeding and running stoplights which are far more dangerous offenses than what Yoongi did. They pay their fines, do any other legal requirements, and go back to their lives.

Not that drinking and driving is r okay, but it was also not an electric bike like most people think. It was more like a kick scooter? Not sure if that’s what you call it for kids, but had a seat. That’s what makes it considered a vehicle. He apologized, he said he’d learned his lesson, he went to pay the fin right away with the officer and gave his driver’s license. He really said he didn’t know that it was against the law. Also, his blood alcohol was about 1 drink. Here, the alcohol level is higher and slowly they are lowering it. It depends on the country. How much do people have to do or say to know that he’s being honest? So many celebrities argue about these things or expect to get away with it. Suga deserves respect and support. It also his private life and sadly it was only 500 m away. So many drunks and other thing in Kdramas that I like and, in my opinion, they are being so harsh on him. Could it be bc he’s an idol, let alone BTS? I will choose to always support Suga by the way he’s so forthcoming. I hope real ARMY does too. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦

two years ago i also drove drunk on an e-scooter - i'm from germany and here you're still allowed to ride your bike if you have less than 1.6 per mille. i learned that day that it's different on e-scooters, i paid a fine, was banned from driving a car for six months and that's it - it'll never happen again, i've learned something and i find it absurd that idols publicly apologize for such trivial offenses just because it's expected. such things really shouldn't bother anyone. but presumably it's only the national ''fans'' who are making a huge fuss about it again.

Suga was riding a kick board scooter that has a seat and while watching a video he avoided obstacles like trees, bus stops, and concrete barriers. It seems like he turned sharply and fell. I'm not saying it's ok to drink and drive . The media showed a short video of what they said was Suga but, in fact it was not him. The police came up to Suga after he fell and got up. The video never showed him taking a breathilizer test.

이 일은 슈가가 잘못한게 맞습니다. 경찰 증언과 cctv 영상에 따르면 슈가는 "전동 킥보드"가 아닌 킥보드보다 부피가 크고 안장이 달린 "전동 스쿠터"를 타고있었습니다. 킥보드를 탔다면 절대 면허정지까지 갈수없습니다. 경찰은 슈가가 탄 전동 스쿠터를 차량으로 간주하고 면허취소를 내린것입니다. 이는 부당한 처사가 아니며 법을 어겼기에 처벌을 받은것입니다. 한국의 연예인 중에서는 음주운전을 한번 봐주면 그뒤에도 음주운전을 다수 일으켰던 선례가 많이 있습니다. 게다가 슈가는 어깨부상으로 군대대신 사회복무요원 근무를 하고있는 상태입니다. 어깨 다쳐서 수술한 사람이 만취상태로 스쿠터를 타고 다니는건 본인을 위해서라도 팬들이 봐주면 안된다고 생각합니다. 다만 본인이 반성하고 있으므로 다음부터 조심했으면 좋겠네요.

He rode a scooter that is consider a vehicle and his bac was 0.227% in drunkenness area blackout means he did not remember how he get home that night. Luckily he did not hit or swerve on another vehicle that can cause Chain reaction accident on a busy road. My opinion not sure on SK law but he should get 1 week jail time to make him realize and humble himself for the mistake he made. Fine is nothing for him because he got a lot of money so not effective, going to some sort of rehab/ awareness of drunk driving and 1 year license suspended.

I say sugar made a mistake and he should get counseling for alcohol problems. Many people who have depression and other mental illness often turn to substance abuse to ease the pain. They're in. Those who have sent death, reefs and call for sugar to be taken out of BTS are not true army. True army. Although we don't approve of his behavior, will support him through the process. BTS would not be BTS without sugar. I'm very sad for what happened but like he said he didn't know that riding the scooter would be considered drunk driving. I'm in a wheelchair and I know in my country the US if I drink and drunk driving my wheelchair I can be charged with DUI . Cuz I had friends that that it's happened too even though we cannot walk without our chairs. So let's show some love and understanding for a human being who made a mistake. I am a Christian and the Bible says we fall short of God's glory everyday. None of us are perfect. When the woman called in adultery was brought before Jesus and they wanted him to Stone her. He said he who is without sin cast the first stone and nobody could cast a stone and that goes for us. None of us are perfect. We all have made mistakes. We have all made decisions that we regret. Let's show some love and forgiveness. I pray that sugar gets the help that helps him control this problem. I pray that when they're United that they will help each other and even now help each other. BTS is a family. They're Brothers and they're apart and that support is very important to all of them. Sugar not only faces criminal but also military punishments. I think that's enough. Only in South Korea does DUI mean loss of a job for some celebrities, not all by any means. And I would have to say Yoongi did not get a pass. Not sure how you missed it, but he will be paying his fine and losing his license, and he made a written, public apology.
