After a long night at BigHit, Taehyung agrees to drive you home, he'd always though of you as more than staff. 'Would you like to listen to my latest song?' He asks while you settle into the passenger seat. 'Sure, I'd love to.' You smile while strapping yourself in. Taehyung started the car engine then leant across to start the CD. The first few notes hit your ears and you melt like an ice cube in your chair. Of course, you weren't going to show any signs externally that that's how you felt since Taehyung was an idol and a co-worker. A scandal is not what either of you needed. Most of the car journey was spent in silence apart from Taehyung quietly humming along to his own track. Eventually your face felt uncomfortably hot so you opened a window to cool down. Light drops of rain splashed onto your face, cooling you down refreshingly. Taehyung looked over to you in curiosity, noticing the rain getting your white dress shirt damp he averted his eyes back to the road quickly. His face felt like a hot pan as the image of you leaning over the window of his car with a damp shirt replayed in his mind. Eventually his brain went astray and his imagination became overactive. He blushed and kept his eyes on the road. You noticed Taehyung look at you momentarily, then he looked away quickly. Slightly disappointed, you kept your gaze on the beautiful streets of Seoul. Until you realised you had no idea where you were. 'Tae, my house isn't in this direction.' 'No, but mine is.' No, a scandal wasn't what you needed, but it's what you both wanted. ••• Whoo, just felt like writing a little story to go with it to help with writers block rip 😂👌

Imagine this: You and your mom dash into the car after coming from the mall and you both collapse in your seat exhausted as it was a long rainy day and you couldn't even find the clothes you wanted. Mom starts turning on the car while you connect your phone and hit your 'faves' Playlist. Mom: better not be those Korean boys again You just shush her and tell her to listen because you know she will like the beat. The song starts and you both fall silent. She starts driving the way home and hasn't said a word while you're over here quietly jamming. I open my window to spit out the old gum I had and shut it. I watched the outside as everything passed by in a blur. I remember the lyrics and just think about how beautiful Taehyung was in that trailer... the song ends and I look to my mom and she just changed the music to some Vicente Fernandez (Mexican) station and blasts it as she yells along in spanish. I sigh and put my earphones in instead.

My favorite thing has always been music and once I started driving I used to go out for long car rides, specially in the rain, to listen to music really loudly and that used to relief my stress and calm my anxiety down. I had to sell my car in the middle of last year and haven't been able to drive since, I cannot express the amount of feels I felt while hearing this, specially because it was singularity and Tae is my ultimate bias... I may sound dramatic or whatever but seriously I'll save this video on my favorites because what an experience it was, thank yous so much for this, it's silly but it meant a lot to me right now.
