Take Two was a complete surprise for ARMY because we weren't anticipating any new music from all 7 members together because of the 2 members (Jin and J-Hope) currently enlisted in the military. But they recorded this song and performance before Jin enlisted in the military last year as a surprise gift for BTS 10th anniversary which was on June 13th, 2023.

That was JIN with the pink mic who came hard. He has a very high vocal range. You can check out his solo single 'The Astronaut' co written with coldplay plus the Astronaut live at the coldplay concert in Argentina. Currently he's in the military and will be discharged by 12.06.2024.

From left to right it's- V, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook, Jin, RM, and J-Hope. Main rappers/vocals tend to get more lines than the lead rappers/vocalists. I wouldn't worry too much about who is lead or main because depending on the song the lead vocalists/rappers may get more lines than the main. The 10th anniversary was June 13, 2023 because they officially debuted as a group on June 13, 2013. 2010 was the year Bighit started to form BTS and RM joined Bighit in 2010 and the last member Jimin didn't join Bighit until 2012. For anniversaries they go by when they officially debuted as a group not exactly when they group is finalized.

In K-pop terms, main is higher than lead. Jungkook is actually the main vocalist. He is pitch perfect, records most of their vocal guides and in many songs does the majority of the adlibs/harmonisations. It’s nice to see Jimin doing more of them in this song with his unique, beautiful high voice.

In k-pop terms main is the top position followed by lead. But for BTS, it really depends on the song in regards to who takes on the main role (most often there is not much of a difference in who gets what). Here, for instance, even though jungkook is the main vocalist, jimin is the one you can see harmonising throughout the song. Even tho RM is the main rapper, he doesn't necessarily have longer verses than the other two. They decide on who sounds better in each part and assign them accordingly.

You have to stop asking such hard questions. Asking which member we prefer or which is our favourite song is like asking which of your children you like the most 😂. They debuted in 2013 so they have been active as a group for 10 years. The members joined over a 3 year period starting in 2010 with RM until Jimin joined late in 2012. So they have been together some since 2010 and some since 2012.

I learned to ignore hair color, etc, and focus entirely on their voices and personalities, once I did that, I quickly was able to tell most of them easily apart, Jin and JK took the longest. I would say that regardless of positions and what not, that BTS wouldn’t be BTS without all of them. They each bring something special and I doubt I would have stanned them so hard without all of them. I would even have a hard time picking one to spend a day with. I’d most likely go with Suga or RM or Jimin. As Suga brought me to BTS and Jimin caused me to stay at the beginning, and RM’s mind fascinates me. Or Jin, I would love to listen to him talk about his philosophy on life. Or J-Hope, he’d be so much fun and I’d love to have time teach me some dance steps. JK would be too difficult for me to keep up with. V would intimidate me as I have zero art talent. But no, I wouldn’t be able to choose. I think I’d like to just be able to sit and watch them be chaotic mess together

this is not a Hype song of BTS's, it was written for ARMY's and released on their 10 year anniversary in 2023, when BTS were already on their Group Break, and a few of them were in the military already. They prepared well for their absence. This song did break some records and win some awards, but it was not promoted. It was a purely digital release, and this was the only live performance of it. They were saying "Bogo shipda, ARMY" Which means, "Miss You ARMY" ON another Note, to ask BTS ARMY what their favorite song is...for context, BTS does not put out bad music, and they have over 400 songs to their credit. There is no way to have one favorite.

Lead and Main has diminished as a really meaningful thing these days. Maybe aside from where the skill is more technical like with dance. They were given those titles in 2013. RM & Suga & j-hope have all been rapping for more than 13 years now, have very different styles, all have very strong technical skills,--I doubt any of them would put themselves above the other two with regard to skill. And they each have different things that they are best at too. ARMYs now have favorites but also would give you some side-eye if you tried to rank them by skill. Same with the vocalists. Jungkook has some extra responsibilities so maybe "main" in appropriate in that sense but when it comes to "lead," Jimin, Tae, and Jin all have such strong and such different sounds that you really can't rank them technically. And they excel at different things too. Jin is a power balladeer who is phenomenal live. Jimin and Tae both have incredibly unique tones that really give Bangtan some of its signature textures. I don't think any ARMY would let you think of Jin and Tae as "sub-vocalists" which was their designated role in 2013. It's just not relevant to a group that is so full of strong, unique artists. So my advice to you is ignore "main" and "lead" when it comes to the rap and vocal.
