49:31 yeah it feels like theyre super successful thru these back to back edits but they were still a small fish comparitively here, the awards they did win were all minor categories😅 hyyh albums from these past few eps, were their first albums that properly bought them to into public conscience but next album WINGS was their big explosion. they started getting the major awards from this one.

BTS kinda took an example from Shinwha eventually. Because even now with their solo albums going really well, they always introduce themselves as part of BTS. Like at their concerts they will say: 'Hello, I am ... from BTS'. And every collab they do with another artist always features the BTS name, even if there's only 1 member in the collab. So they always consider themselves part of the group and shine their own light and popularity on the group. And honestly it works. So many people who got into BTS bc of JK solo's or Suga solo's for example. They also always call their fans ARMY. Solo or together, it's always army. No unique fan names for any of the 7. It's all one. It's inspiring!

Loving your reactions and appreciating our amazing 7 guys. You know, you don't have to love all their songs. But to respect and love their journey is hard NOT to love and appreciate them. Their growth and solo work have met and surpassed their individual dreams. They''ve already reached their group dreams regardless of missing out on a Grammy. They're amazing young men, respect also to Bang PD and the Big Hit staff that traveled with the guys these past 13 years.

Running Man “ Super Mario” is a beloved variety show in SK. Very famous and fun. Quite the honour to be asked to be on it! You have made it! BTS became picky and did not do shows since they had their own. Very few as time went on. Getting them BTS- is like getting a unicorn now bc they are so busy. But in the early days they were so disrespected ( not running man) they did not want to participate and made Run BTS their own show.

BTS on Running Man. Running Man is a Korean variety show and the members must compete in a series of challenges/games in order to win prizes and avoid punishment. Running Man is a funny show, a lot of idols have been a guest to this show to promote their comeback or simply because they were invited for a special episode.

It has over 600 episodes, so it could be difficult to do each one. I would recommend you guys watch the episodes that are the most popular or the ones that has one of your favourite artists as guests (BTS, Sejeong, and other idols/actors). loved the reaction!!

4:27 What Jimin is mentioning here was his singing. He had the shortest training among bts members before debut and with the company's financial situation at that time he did not have official vocal lessons like the other vocal line. During the training period, he would observed the other members vocal lessons and practice on his own. He was also a perfectionist. What I don't know once the company started making money which was 2-3 years from debut if they provided him vocal lessons. Because JK mentioned that Jimin would asked him about vocal techniques but it was difficult because they have different vocal tone.

Also, Jimin's low self of esteem might have been attributed due to when PD Bang has said, that he was even hesitant on even allowing Jimin to become a trainee at first. It was only due to RM and others convincing PD. Bang to give him a chance to prove himself that with him the team will be successful and help with their overall moral during the team's hard times. Lastly, Jimin has mentioned that he was almost up for elimination at least 8 times before debute to the point of being kicked out of the group completely before, they had the chance to show off to the public what they could do together. I'm sure this had an influence on his self worth and made him think he needed to work harder to be seen as an important asset to BTS as a whole. That would give anyone a ton of stress and anxiety of, I'm I good enough to be an Idol that people want to see and listen too? I feel for him, but luckily he is more secure in his ability now than ever, as he should be.

@@mollydelacy9007 This!! Imagine hearing constantly in your teens and early 20s that you're not good enough (especially when he already was but was just given less tools for improvement). Even up to this day I hate it when the members are being compared without taking into account the tools and promotion they receive from the company. It's also quite amazing that despite Jimin's rough start at the label, he's now one of the three most popular members and one of the most successful soloists from South Korea globally. 🥰 I'm so looking forward to hearing Jimin's beautiful voice in his solo works more, and I'm also excitedly waiting for 2025 for the group to be whole again! 💜

He had vocal lessons here and there over the years, it's not like he has had zero lessons since he debuted and as another person mentioned he's taking lessons and starting from the basics (could be about some dancing style, could be singing, could be anything really even playing xyz instrument but most probably singing) but overall him and the whole team didn't have time over the years to have consistent lessons. They were so so busy with very hectic schedules more often than not that's just the reality of it.

Jimin really had a rough start to his idol career. as others have mentioned, he was kind of a last-minute addition with a ridiculously short training period, and was the only member of the vocal line not to be provided with formal voice lessons (probably for financial reasons). He has said in interviews that he was nearly cut from the group 8 times in the last few months leading up to debut... it was a very close call for him. And it's not because he wasn't talented, but moreso that he didn't really fit that hypermasculine hiphop style the group was embodying in the beginning. jimin is a beautiful, classically-trained dancer (and acrobat, and martial artist...) who was at the top of his class in a prestigious arts school. but he had a hard time translating those skills into the aggressive, powerful style that BigHit was looking for. according to the other members and the company staff, he worked harder than anyone else, pushing himself to improve until he was "good enough" and he was allowed to stay. And not just stay--at debut, he was named as a main dancer alongside jhope, and as the group's lead vocalist, right behind jungkook (who is the main vocalist). not too bad for someone with no training! Honestly, I think that early experience really messed with him. he's already an extreme perfectionist by nature, but there is this additional anxiety there, a self-doubt that could very well be a result of being under such harsh scrutiny, of being told repeatedly that he was on the verge of being kicked out. He is SO hard on himself, still, to this day.

A little fact I'd like to add is even at that point BTS was not "selling" their individual music so they're not doing that in terms of profit. The members could release solos like RM's mixtape and SUGA's mixtape. They were also released for free without any "proper promotion" unlike group projects. This just goes to prove that it was a way for them to grow as artists, even with the realization that they were already doing so much as a group. BTS's music from the next episode onwards will be based on much greater concepts/ ideas as you will see. They just go a level even higher. BTS also came out with an album called "Map of the Soul:7" in their 7th year. That was an especially important album about finding the map/truth of the soul (based on Carl Jung's concept) as they were going to go to the military after that album's concert (that changed as COVID came and other things happened with military BTS law and controversies etc.)

He doesn't interact with us like the others do with weverse post/insta posts here and there because of that. And it's so stupid like he is also working hard in the position that he is in just like anyone else in the military, it's not like he is doing nothing all day. He is also a soldier and not a regular citizen during this time so it's so annoying like it's not like he wants to have a fkced up shoulder (that he got a very intense surgery for and was in rehabilitation training for a couple of months after). Suga's verse when he say's "the doctor asked, if I ever...blank?" And he answers, 'yes he has before." He is talking about his past depression and how his parents had him go see a therapist. So, in other words the doctor had asked him, if he has ever self h**md or has thoughts of or has tried ending his own life before? That's why the lyrics were censored out, so the song could be released for public consumption at that time. Since, Korea is pretty conservative on that topic and Koreans don't like to talk about it. It's getting better now but, back then alot of ppl didn't believe in mental illness is real and that it makes one look weak or lazy. It was a problem for people struggling with it cuz unlike in the US, when someone applies for a new job one has to submit their medical records to that employer with their resume as well as a recent photo on themselves. This allows the HR to decide if they want or don't want to have someone on their team that has chronic health problems or mental illness, which unfortunately this is a deal breaker for many with these issues. That's why Koreans don't want to get help for themselves to hide it from others so they can or keep their jobs. Also, I think it's unfair that one is judge by physical looks alone by an employer, is taken into account if they will be able to get employment or not even if they qualify for the job completely. That's why many get professional headshots taken so they can look their best on the job application and is one of the biggest reason why plastic surgery is very common place, cuz of their very high standard of beauty determine if one is going to be successful in the regular workforce and even helps one get into a better University as well. It's not just in the entertainment industry alone. I find that insane and mind boggling that still happens till this day.

When I first got into BTS, Jimin and V were my favorite singers. They have very unique voices, especially Jimin. He has a delicate, almost feminine voice that you don't hear a lot from male singers. It's so beautiful. I liked Jungkook's voice, but with his singing, I felt like he played it safe a bit. As I listened to more of BTS's music, I started to appreciate all their voices though. Particularly Jungkook's voice. He has always had a voice that is perfect for pop music and he is naturally talented of course. But in recent years, he has improved his vocal technique a lot through training. It is very obvious in his newer songs. And Jin is quite underrated as a vocalist. His belting voice is so, so good. The fact that he didn't have any singing experience before he joined BTS is crazy.

I think a lot of people had this almost misunderstanding a bit about Jungkook playing it safe with his singing which I don't think is true..He adapted to the song as per the requirement like if you listen to LOOK HERE, you would see a very different type of vocal tone of Jungkook or listen to DECALCOMANIA, he uses the lower register..I just think in earlier songs, most of the high notes was done by Jimin because he has a naturally high voice but with time all have started doing high notes..Like Jk did in SO WHAT, BORN SINGER or LOST..

It pains my heart to hear baby Jimin at age 17 saying he wasn't good enough, when he joiined BTS, Jin, Jung Kook and V had already been given 3-4 years of prior vocal training. He had a training period of only 6 months, and without the vocal training, it must have crushed his confidence, making him feel so inadequate. However, BTS was lucky to have a such rare gem like Jimin whose raw talent, helped the group shine. RM himself has mentioned several times, that BTS would not be what it is today, without Jimin. RM recognized the pure talent, the complexity, artistry and magnificence in Jimin's voice and his performances which were organic, non generic and not manufactured. The members of BTS are all immensely talented and are accomplished rappers and vocalist. IMHO, the group is Iconic, because RM and Jimin have the most exquisitely unique and colorful voice tones in the whole group, they are outstanding!. Jimin is a rare natural and true countertenor, which is very hard to come by. It is different from a tenor using a falsetto to reach a counter tenor quality, (like Jin and JK). Countertenors are often natural tenors and baritones, and many of us have witnessed, when Jimin does his low register growls and mid range belts, it is absolutely as beautiful as his high notes. His is often the Killing voice that is so striking and high, he can carry his voice at a higher octave, from C3 to reaching the G3, D5, E5 and even high Fs. His voice has very high harmonics, and it is more strident on the ear, his is often the voice that hits you and catches your attention first. His voice is the most outstanding one, in any group situation, for proof of what I mean, check this phenomenon out in the KCON, festival 2016, in France by (Mnet), when BTS sang Arirang and at the ending, they sang with various other Kpop groups, all singing in unison, in the ending, Park Jimin's voice was the most distinctive one, amongst all the other idols in a group.

The woman judge was representing me lol. Jungkook’s vocals really hits hard. He really knows how to convey emotions through his voice. He’s the main vocalist for a reason. Can’t wait for you guys to check out his solo album and his covers.

While I appreciate this fanmade documentary, I think it kinda glosses over the hardships side of things in terms of the attacks and sabotage that BTS have faced coming not only from other fandoms (and I'm not talking about petty fanwars or ridicuous haters calling them flops, but about serious stuff, like threats that get concerts canceled, mass-organized defamatory attacks that negatively impacted the boys and ended on news outlets etc) but also coming from the industry itself. While BTS were steadily gaining fans because of how good and genuine they are, there's also been a ridiculous mounting wave of attacks at them from the beginning, bc they were a group from a poor background going against the privileged status quo (the classism in Korea had a lot to do with this, but it wasn't limited to Korea). In my maaaany years in fandom spaces, I had to deal with haters, but the amount and nature of the attacks BTS faced and for such a long time? I've never seen hate so bad. I think it's important to show this side too because it further explains the mutual close bond BTS have with ARMY. For example, the docu should've explained better why this concert was so important for the boys as well as show what happened right after aka the organized mass trending of defamatory attacks that got BTS falsely labeled "plagiarism boys", which BTS have also shown in their own documentary. So you had BTS and ARMY coming out with the high of an important concert for BTS' career going so well, a dream come true, and what they were welcomed by was this organized mass attack dragging their name throught the mud. ARMY tried trending positive stuff in order to drown out the negativity, but back then we didn't have the numbers needed to drown all that.

still at that time BTS only get BOSANG awards which are not grand prizes so still they were not that famous in korea until 2016 when they got their first DESANG the GRAND PRIZE. From there their success story start........

Really enjoying your content guys, thank you. Shame you're not covering the bonus content as well in the videos but I understand. Not a complaint, just wanted to enjoy those with you too as there are some real gems in there. As you go along, I recommend you watch XCeleste's videos, especially BTS Hardships: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5W8Z6qkgdiYqrM as this will give you further insight into the episodes as they go on and the boys vlogs or thoughts, as not much of that side is covered in RoB as the events covered in xCeleste's videos happened alongside the info you're absorbing.

I hope you guys will watch BTS’s official documentaries someday, but since this fan made documentary takes a lot from BTS’s official documentaries as well as other places you’ll see some of the same things again, but I still hope you’ll check the official ones out!💜

4:22 There's a Korean American reactor that I watch who says the translations for what he said should have bee, "Despite my efforts, it's not going well", not meaning that he's 'not good enough' but that he wants to get better but despite his efforts he's reached a plateau. We all know that Jimin can be very hard on himself, but the translation here wasn't exactly correct. In previous chapters, JHope also said something similar about his dance. Anyone who wants to excel or become an expert/master at something will talk about that plateau but it doesn't necessarily mean that they think they suck, which is what this translations is implying.

The mixtape were released on Soundcloud not on proper streaming sites. So they weren't making money off their mixtapes. They just wanted to show their individuality

To be sincere at the beginning..i was so worried about jimin because hes a perfectionist and was very hard on himself at the beginning and i think he had this anxiety because they nearly kicked him out of the group 8 times prior to debut and he had the shortest training period, but hes a hardworker and i am happy at where he is today..Out of all bts members,i think jimin is the one that literally grew with their songs, you could see the time that he came to love himself and accept himself.

BTS show their personality when they perform that´s what makes them so incredible. i never feel that when i see other groups perform. it´s to serious all the men have a strong face expression and all the girls smile cute. it´s a little to fake for me.

I got to see yoongi perform The Last live during his solo tour and I can’t describe with words how it feels seeing a song that helped me start my own mental health journey performed live, especially when it had been so many years since he’d dropped his solo mixtape. Mental health struggled are still so looked down upon in South Korea so for him to be so raw and open and honest regarding his experience with depression and self harm……vulnerability doesn’t even begin to describe it. He and the rest of the group are the reason I decided to finally ask for help and get treated for my clinical depression. I won’t be cliche and say they saved my life, but they did shine a light on asking for help as not being weakness and walked with me down my own mental health path. I genuinely would not be thriving the way I am today without them and I’ll always be grateful

So happy you're doing better friend and got the help you need 🫂🫂 I love reading stories like yours and just how Yoongi or the tannies in general help people in so many ways, it makes my heart warm. Sidenote equal parts jealous and happy that you saw D-Day tour live like that piano life goes on, guitar seesaw, SDL, huh, people, people pt2, D-Day, amygdala, the last combo goes crazyyyy. I would have lost my mind if I was there in person. I have to see them live in 2025/2026 like I just have to idc idc

Jimin had a hard time singing live at times. he hated being even the slightest bit off pitch. It happens when you're dancing so hard and loose control of your breathing. also he would tire, at times due to his crazy diet. He didn't have enough cals to burn.

Why are you lying and spreading wrong info? Lol. He never got vocal lessons in USA. He only got dance lessons and that was only for 3 weeks. And their dance teacher said he choosed Jungkook personally because he was the one who had the most potential out of the members. You’re just bitter bcs they’re praising JK.
