BTS works 360 days a year. No holidays or weekends off. But last Christmas they finally got off. Jimin said it felt weird. He didn't know how to act. So now that they are on break. They had to get used to not working...not having a schedule. They freaked out at first, but finally got used to it. They can breathe now!

Jhope left, JK didn't, but he cried a lot for Jhope and RM had to convince the company that the group wouldn't make it without Jhope and RM has said on many occasions that Jhope is the real leader of BTS .. They compliment each other so much .. they are really like a real family .. all of them work really hard to contribute to the position they now hold as world artists .. they really work hard .. its hard not to love them .. I'll only say something about BTS; Just the other day in a show that Jin attended, host said "I wanted to say thank you for contributing to the development of Korean culture" and Jin responded "It's our members who did it, not me."... That is truly BTS to you. You said it too well too; their humbleness, this "crediting everyone else" is something we so deeply love about them, and it is also something that makes them so different than anyone else, but it is also something we wish would change just a bit. But no, i want them to stay as they are, or be how they wanna be. Namjoon had said in the heart wrenching song "Always" roughly ; "I am being earnest so why doesn't it work" but it did work, it does work in the best way. Because of their earnestness, our love for them isn't something temporary, it is something that will continue forever and that will be part of their not just big but also beautiful legacy... PS: I wanna say something about RM/Always too... That song always hits hard and has a special place in my heart. It reminds me of their hard(er) days and the weight on Namjoon's shoulders. In that time, a small part of the lyrics turn out to be similar with another song in 2015, and he makes a naive "mistake" by admitting it could be the case, because he sometimes reads books, watches stuff or looks at his memo to get inspired. And that those memos may have notes of certain things he cannot remember the source of. Never truly anything being proven, because he "accepts" it the accusations from so many unrelated things come up and haters start attacking him with nonsense. As a leader, i cannot imagine the guilt and weight on him then. Because that incident caused them to continue being accused of unreal things for years. So when he said roughly "one morning i woke up and wished i was dead"... he meant it. His lines "how much can i say, tell the truth so i won't look weak/coward but also so i won't look like im attacking anyone" are also such real lines. Because even today that is something they keep doing. They never name anyone, they never target anyone, they even pick their words so carefuly that no one would be targeted officially, but they also do their best to be honest with us and give us strength. That is the hardest thing anyone can do honestly. That balance, and BTS is special because of that balance as well.

Even at work we strugle to find the words to address people and make a difference in this world. Sometimes we are right and help people. Sometimes we are right and yet damage people. Sometimes we wrong and do a mess trying to get right. That is life. I usually forgive myself for my mistakes. If not, life would be unbearable to live. About BTS (and specially RM) I am always proud on how deep they can go even when they are really young. They will commit mistakes and that is ok. Everyone should admit and be ok with the mistakes. Then try different.

When RM sang his song at the Wings Newark stop, we made the arena shake from singing "We Love You" at the top of our lungs. It became a secret ARMY project worldwide to sing it at him at every single show until it finally sunk in. It did, and from there we got the Love Yourself series 💜 P.S.- The numbers with the circles are the tracks on the WINGS album. Each member had a solo song, and in this part of the series they focus on one member while playing that solo track (i.e. #6- Mama is Jhope's solo, so it focused on him and that song).

Luke, you're not crazy and your ending comments were like listening to myself trying to explain how I feel about the members of BTS and why, two years ago at the age of 65, I felt like I found a special place in this world, a safe place, a home without walls. Their music and their lyrics are what drew me in at the beginning of this journey, but it quickly went far beyond that. I'm so far down the rabbit hole now, I'm not sure I could ever find my way out again! But that's okay because I'm perfectly happy where I am! And the camaraderie I've found with Army means so much even if only anonymously on the internet. Sorry for going on but I wanted you to know you're not alone in how you feel. J hope's family and Mom went into debt, to support his Dream of dancing, she had to take a Job in a different City to finance his dreams. His sister studied abroad in Australia and the US, because Education is the only way to break out of a low income family, his Dad is a Teacher they don't have much money, he wasn't full into his dream because again they didn't have much money sometimes they couldn't even afford toys, that's why his Dad wanted him to study and break out of it, but his Mom fully supported him and worked 2 Jobs in a Restaurant and an Internet Cafee in a Different City.

In BTS’ history, there has been no sort of ‘break up’. The closest thing to it was way way before their debut, when they were trainees and their positions weren’t guaranteed (when they had those monthly evaluations to go through). JIMIN said somewhere he was nearly dropped entirely 8 times because he got low scores in those evaluations. j-Hope almost leaving was also way before their debut (I believe this was before their positions in Bangtan were guaranteed, but I’m not 100% certain, so don’t quote me on that lol), and he did walk out for a short period before Namjoon and the company convinced him back. Jungkook didn’t leave at all 💜

Jungkook didn't leave, but he did think about it. It was after they sent him to dance training in the US and he thought he wanted to just be a dancer then and not a singer at all. Jimin told him he was nuts (not those exact words) and convinced him to stay. He ended up debuting as the Main Vocalist and a Lead Dancer. Jungkook also cried when J-Hope left; I'm sure because he knew how well J-Hope danced and also because of his personality. Anyway, I am so, so glad they debuted as BTS and came this far, or I may never have found them. I was heartbroken when I saw the 2018 MAMA speech and learned they were thinking about disbanding early 2018, from all the pressures I imagine of going so hard the previous years. Again, thankful they toughed through it. Love BTS! ARMY FOREVER!

I have heard there was a hashtag after debut to JHope to leave BTS because he had no talent. Crazy not really armys. And he got sensitive. JK struggled a lot and did not let JHope leave BTS.

The third episode of “Burn the Stage” was the first time Hoseok ever mentioned leaving the group, which gives you some idea of how much we still don’t know about all their trainee years. The timing for Hoseok leaving is hard to find out, but knowing that Jimin was witnessing this, and that Hoseok was back in the dorm when Jihoon (another trainee) left , we can make a assumption that Hobi leave (a few days, a week ? more ?) between May and July 2012.

The leaving was when they were trainees. There were several people that could of been in bts but left as trainees. Technically Bts with these 7 members was not official until debut. So no bts has never broken up

"Am I Wrong?" is one of BTS's most political songs, that and "Baepsae." It almost got them blacklisted by the government of President Park Geun-hye, in fact. The lyrics include a line about pigs and dogs, which is a quote from one of the government ministers who was caught on a hot mic calling the Korean people that. I absolutely love that song - it's a bop, and also so freaking courageous. They could have blown up their whole career with that song...

I grew up listening to all kinds of music (70s, 80s, 90s+) and loved it all across multiple different genres. I never cared for rap because the story/meaning to the lyrics were always about dr*gs, violence, etc. But in listening to BTS, all music that I previously loved, enjoyed, sang/danced to.... feels empty. I learned to love Korean rap through RM, Suga, & J-Hope. I never knew that I was unhappy with life or just how much I despised myself, until I heard their music and started learning to love myself, little by little. While it's taken me almost a year to really have a good mental image of myself, I hope BTS continue for a long time. I know that sounds selfish and I do hope they are able to rest and grow as people... as individuals, but their music gives me life. To say that they're my heroes is an understatement, but I think you said it best, Mr. Luke. They are the epitome of the word HOME. They are my home, just like they are for so many people across this vast world.

J-Hope was the victim of lots of hate on the internet saying he was ugly, untalented, etc. There were mean hashtags that really hurt. He was the last one to receive any letters from fans; quietly going through mail time with nothing when all the other members were getting letters. He finally talked to his mom (who had worked multiple jobs to support Hobi in reaching his goals) and decided he would leave. RM and the other members convinced J-Hope and the company that they needed Hobi to succeed. The numbers are for the short films that go with Wings and relate to the BU. The song you asked about is one of my favorites "Am I Wrong?." There's a great dance practice for this song that was released for this year's Festa. I can identify with what you shared at the end. My comfort show is Frasier, I like to have it running while I cook and clean. Then I can understand how you feel at home with BTS and don’t have a need to see them in real life. It’s enough to just watch them. I feel like I’m part of their group and just going along with their daily activities, like a silent partner or something lol.

BTS is a mix of talent, practice and humble. Their insecurities lead them to success. They never take it for granted. (I watched yesterday a video of Blackpink tour, for example, where fans are complaining about lack of sync and other problems. Althoug Blackpink delivers insane MV, with billion views, fans are not guaranteed, they want perfect live perfomances.) BTS is special because they never say they are worthless, they only question if they are good enough. Then, they have a mindset of working till exhaustion to get better for the next chalenge. Their secret is to compare them in the past to themselves, never to other groups. A journey of improvement must be external and internal.😉💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

For example, I am amazed how they sing For Youth with only shoulders movements on the chorus. It is so beautiful that I always smile and find myself in joy. We could support them not to jump everytime they sing and have soft songs that touch our hearts.

My granddaughter actually gets bullied at school for her love of BTS and is told she's not supposed to like a band from Korea. I can't stand haters I told her to stand up for what she loves. I'm a child of the 80s and we live in America I was 💯 in love with Boy George and I told nobody told me who to listen to so don't let anyone tell her who to listen to. I'm Army right along side her. At I-Land, which is a reality show that formed the group Enyphen, BTS appears to answer some questions the trainees had and there RM says that he once ran away home, before debut, but that his father convinced him to come back. , saying that if he stayed home, he would resent it and blame his father, for life, so he came back. And that moment when the audience responds to RM was really loud in Brazil, we Brazilian fans are known for passion and for shouting the songs along with the singers, please react to that when you can... i feel exactly the same that´s why i can´t live without them i always watch them. and the most amazing thing is that they are real people they are not actors. and i totally get what you said about them being just normal people you feel safe you dont feel that they are unapproachable they are like family or best friends. i think most army's if they really try to act normal Infront of BTS😏 without screaming, we would just speak to them like old friends. that´s how people from korea talk about them too and they are used to groups and tv shows all the time so i thought they would look at BTS like the rest of them but no. i think they share most of themself with us. no youtuber or celleb has ever shared this much. but that makes us more loyal when we know what they would do, and not do. it´s like when a person said that your child has done something terrible, you as a parent wont believe it because you know them so well and know they would never do this.

This was such a great chapter! To answer some of your questions: (1) no, they never realize how great they are. (2) before debut, it was J-Hope and Jimin that almost didn’t make it. Hobi tried to leave because it seemed they’d never debut and things were really hard for them, but JK hugged him crying all night begging him not to go. RM kept telling the producers they needed J-Hope and they would never make it without him. Jimin was almost thrown out of BTS a couple of times, I always feel a lot of his undeserving mentality started back then. There’s an interview we’re JK remembers how Jimin was the first in the practice studio and the last at night, sometimes sleeping just a couple of hours. How he didn’t have vocal training so he would tag along with him and V to see their class and then practice by himself. (3) The circle animations with the numbers are from a documentary, it’s divided by the solo songs of the album Wings and each song represents a chapter for the member and for BTS. Honestly, I think the only way to get them to see what we see is to take them down their own rabbit hole from the perspective of a baby army. I think if they watched the rise of bangtan they’d have more understanding of why we really love them & support them.

They find so much comfort in each other, and you FEEL that...the bond is so deep-they really have grown up together and are a family unto themselves. I think that is what we feel from them-they are real, kind, so loving, yet hysterically funny...simply the best 7 human beings I have ever come across. You add to that all of the immense talent they all have and they are just something so unique, so special-you feel like they could walk into your home and it would be like you were already friends. Unassuming, even a bit shy at first, but just so real, and they don't know how to be any other way. God I love them....they comfort me like sliding into the most comfy, warm, baggy old jumper & fuzzy slippers on a cool evening and curling up in front of a fire, if that makes any sense? This rabbit hole is such a delicious place to be with the 7 members and Army...it doesn't get any better. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Back in their early years #kickoutJHopeBTS trended on twitter, he wasn't getting posts on line or any fan mail and people were trolling making insulting comments about his looks and skills so he decided to quit. In one of the earlier episodes you see Jimin doing his 'ding dong' and handing out fan letters to the members and you see the look of surprise on JHope's face when he gets some. That kills me every time. But look at him now, he really won people over but we knew he was amazing all along.💜

J-hope almost leaving was before they even debuted.. so there was no break up.. this is me being honest and not trying to be rude at all, but the thumbnail is kinda misleading and a bit like clickbait.. or can be taken out of context. The words BTS actually broke up can even be misinterpreted and someone could think that it’s about all the new information about their military service. This is just my opinion.

It's crazy coz even today, just a few hours ago I saw many plagiarism accusations against BTS from those same EXO, BlackPink and BigBang's fandoms. It's crazy how they think a photoshoot concept of flowers or color background or a certain haircut is concerned "plagiarism". EXO fandom has already started dragging Jin for his new song that hasn't even been released yet, they saying the Astronaut is a copy of EXO's song coz they had members wear some space costume or smth like that, K-pop community is still the same as before. The only thing changed is BTS reached a height no other k-group can, but that's it. K-media never covered any of BTS success in the recent BTS Busan concert K-netizs were surprised about just how everybody and their Mama's from country's all around the world came just for BTS, they were shook when BTS enlistment announcement was covered by almost every country. Some of the big 3 companies were even revealed to pay the media to not cover anything about BTS achievements, even when BTS became the first ever Asian group and first Korean artists to be nominated in Grammys the K-media said "oh and BTS lost the Grammys lol" but they'll hype up the smallest thing a big 3 group achieves. The k-fandoms are still as nasty as ever, just a few weeks ago they were hyping up a really racist and vile post made by some local towards BTS like🗿 I've been called a "toxic army" for speaking up against a Kpop Stan who was wishing d3ath to BTS members parents. K-pop community has really normalized hating and being absolutely vile towards BTS for no reason yet they'll call us the worst of them all. I wish these ppl just leave us and BTS alone and mind their own favs instead

I love ur videos...💜 Jhope had left the grp at one point and jk was really emotional and didn't want him to go so he cried a lot holding jhope, Jimin had a hard time dancing at the start bcoz his background was in Modern dance and BTS had to do hip-hop so he was being cut from the team for like 6-7 times but he worked really hard. RM to had left at one point bcoz of the pressure of dancing since he didn't have a dance background but his Dad convinced him to go back otherwise he will regret in the future so he came back the next day....
