The song is about love not religion in the song frank ocean sat in the taxi and driver is Muslim and he shared about him loving same gender and driver said it’s not acceptable so frank ocean made a song about this. When jisoo and another guy ( I forgot his name) posted it, they said good persons have good taste in music but when it comes to Namjoon people act like he forced them to listen to this, while some others putted the lyrics in their story he didn't and I am a muslim myself, I didn't listen to the song as long as he didn't force me to listen, he just shared what song he likes, he didn't wrote it or anything

Please don't believe fake news and haters. Listen to the song in its entirety and not just in fragments. She talks about the pain of a man who suffers from unrequited love, because they are of the same sex and religion does not accept them. The funny thing is that idols from a famous female super group have both been to this singer's show and posted this same song, but only with RM who causes controversy and hate.

Am muslim, the thing with RM is he posted a song named bad religion of frank ocean which many idols did too like (g-dragon/jisoo/ten from nct/superm..) non of them got hate but they were praised for having good taste. When rm did the haters went all the way changing the meaning of the song saying it disrespect islam. Frank ocean fans and many sites and news outlets and even arab bbc explained that the real meaning of the song didn't disrespect any religion and asked ppl to stop speculating. RM went live and explained what he thought about the meaning of the song and no religion crossed his mind. Haters have been trying lately to cancel all bts members by creating fake news .

[PLEASE READ‼] Namjoon did nothing wrong so there's nothing that he gon' regret, please understand Bad Religion by Frank Ocean is about a RELATIONSHIP/unrequited love for illiterate people (love that can't be returned), not about actual religious practice, Something that is literally stated at the end of the song itself if you heard the whole song. the track uses the metaphor of religion to talk about unrequited love through a makeshift therapy session in the backseat of a cab ,in the song frank loves this person so much to the point where he worships him but the other person doesn't feel the same way. he can't accept that and is desperate to change his feelings toward him; hence why it's a bad religion. as he said in the song : "it's a bad religion to be in love with someone who could never love you" Also, so many kpop idols that recommended bad religion were praised for it, but only namjoon got backlash for that and people acting like he k!lled someone, this is crazy actually... =/

I am an atheist myself. One thing I agree on with RM. from my standpoint having to forcefully kneel down to a god I do not believe in myself is truly wrong I have had to do it for years out of my will. Like RM i understand there are people whose beliefs Aline with religion. so I respect their beliefs. But when it’s shoved down my throat as the only key to salvation it’s wrong. I still respect your practices. but you can’t respect me for not believing. So I’m pretty sure RM knew what he meant. The lyrics “god is the greatest, I told him don’t curse me” is not a diss even the most simplest of people Can understand why he chose that that specific lyric. Though you respect others choices to follow religion, when they hear you don’t share the same faith they question you. Say your wrong. Curse at you. Nobody is wrong no matter who believes and who doesn’t. Is he now not free to voice his opinions the minute it doesn’t suit yours. My specific issue is can’t you be a good person outside of faith. Is faith the only reason why your good. Then are you truly a good person. Listen to the song and you will know that this a song about unrequited love. Don’t hate without facts. This is not a message of hate but of my beliefs. I will not be commenting any further. Question me and my choice of words then you shall set and example as to what’s my issue.

I didn't know the meaning behind Frank Ocean's Bad religion and when i went to read the lyrics, i could understand both side, while kpop for most is known for overreacting and being offensive to idols for everything. from a religous perspective and not the actual person who sang the song or wrote it, the lyrics could be taken as offensive if you didn't know about it before and Namjoon here, an atheist wouldn't have any problem, because he doesn't believe in any of it. I'm not hating on namjoon, i also think he shouldn't apologise because of it. if you are a person who got offended by it then thats just it but you can't be out there, hating on people because of something they did that affected you. even if the song was about religion, why does it matter? Namjoon has his taste and interests, he shouldn't be looking out for what you guys think of him, he shouldn't be thinkin 'Oh this sounds offensive to religous groups so i wont play it' especially if he doesnt belive in that.
