suga isn't pretending to play the piano, he knows how to play it, he has a song called "first love" and his "first love" was the piano jin was suggested in "epiphany" to pretend to play the piano but he preferred to learn it before pretending and deceiving the fans (he learned it in 3 weeks)

Actually Suga learnt (by himself) how to play piano very well when he was in high school. He even did a song about his love to piano it called "first love" if u want pls check it bcs it's really beautiful song. He also did performance with Jungkook to "i need u" he played the melody and Jungkook was dancing to it. Also he played piano on his solo tour. there are a lot of recordings on KZbin of many different moments when he plays the piano, a few years ago he even played the piano in a commercial for "Puma"
