Kim Taehyung. You are one of the biggest surprises and life-changing people to have ever come into my life. My first real impressions of you were the first few seconds of the music video, and I had never seen such a heartwarming and charming presence in my life up until my point. To this day, I am a dedicated ARMY and have been fortunate enough to, through you and the rest of the Army welcoming me with open arms, grow to love you and learn about who you really are amidst all that BTS has become. For over three years now, I have been comforted by the familiar and heartfelt deep and soothing voice that you have. I know that in your time as an artist, you have gotten the luxury of experimenting with your musicality and you have only brought us the best version of yourself that you possibly can with every song that you’ve given us. The emotions that ARMY have felt for years now as your voice gets more powerful and raw over time is indescribable in words. We can only feel that familiar longing and security from hearing the sweetest voice that has covered us with love for as long as we can remember. I sincerely thank you for sharing your voice with us because it’s been one of the easiest ways for us to communicate and understand you. If you weren’t doing what you are now, singing for so many people and giving them hope, what little faith that is existent in this world right now might be gone. That might sound extreme, and I don’t mean to overwhelm you, but through the perspective of an ARMY, I want nothing more for you to know that your voice could never be replicated or replaced. On top of this, I want to thank you for dancing, which fills our hearts with the most extreme of emotions just as much. It is impossible to take my eyes off you when you dance because you command the stage with your bursting enthusiasm and connection with your ARMY. Every stage that you have created for us burns in our memory and every performance is unforgettable. Somehow you incorporate some of your own style in every move that makes each performance unique and complete different from the previous. You always make every choreography so fresh and interpret it completely different from any other dancer I’ve ever seen. You just melt into the movement and let your relationship with the music and your ARMY carry your body into something beautiful and rare. You can say so much with even the subtlest of movements because you just have that aura and charm. I know that we will never see an artist or performer quite like you and you have completely created your own natural expressional style that no other has ever possessed. When you are on the stage, or even just practicing, it is just something other-worldly and nothing short of an honor to get to be a part of. Something that I’ve come to to know lately is that you have never changed who you are as a person. You are somebody who has gone through more and seen more than most people in the world, and through everything that’s happened, you’ve never changed. You’ve only grown and evolved, and it takes somebody humble like you to be able to do that. I know that just recently, you hit your 10-year anniversary as a member of BTS, and I became an ARMY just in time to see you mature and reflect on what that means to you. I know that this authenticity and realness about you is the reason why your members have in you, a brother and family member that is not so easily obtained. The loyalty and trust that your members have for you and that you have for them is a relationship that every human being only can hope they find in your lifetime. You are restoring hope for ARMYs and people everywhere that the right people will find you if you are patient. Sometimes, it’s hard to think that you’ll ever find friends that are as completely loving and honest with you as you are with your members, but you teach people that by just being yourself, that unconditional love will come right to you. I know that it goes without saying that you have created nothing but over ten years of the most precious and treasured moments with your members by your side that undoubtedly have helped you become who you are today. I don’t even need to say how grateful and simply happy your members are because of you because anybody can see it in the way that they carry themselves. You teach them how to be themselves, make them laugh at any given moment with your unpredictable and unconventional humor, and cheer them up with the wisest and sincerest of words. None of the members would be able to achieve their dreams without you and BTS would never be what it is today without your endless influence and individuality leading it to represent a pure and eternal love. I love how artistic and intelligent you are; and that you seem so connected to the artistic side of life. You teach us not to have any judgments towards anyone or anything and accept the world around us just as it is. You took something as a common as a color and transformed it into a movement and a revolution. You reinvented the term “purple” and gave it meaning. I know that you recently said that ARMY did, and you only noticed it, but it is truly that you gave us a symbol to believe in. Now, we all have our own secret language to share and build each other up with. This is just one of the countless actions and creations you’ve made in the past 10+ years just for us. You are always thinking of us in the most extreme or uninspired of times. Even when you are tired or unmotivated, which you’ve admitted before, you make sure that you are communicating with us through any means possible and checking up on us. You have always put your ARMY first even when you you should have put yourself first. You don't even question it or think about it. You most definitely have one of the biggest and sincerest hearts of anybody I’ve ever known. I am so grateful to God for putting you in my life and in the lives of millions of ARMY everywhere. You’ve redefined for us what it means to love somebody with your whole heart. I want to personally thank your parents and family for raising you and making you the person that you are today. I know you hold them close to your heart through everything that you go through and I am so grateful to them for bringing so much positivity and heartfelt kindness to the world. Taehyung's voice is one of the sexiest I've heard and his range is so broad too. Sometimes I'm so hypnotised by his crazy visuals and facial expressions that I miss this cause we're usually more focused on what we see than what we're hearing at the same time. But the reason why his fancams are so popular and why he has an outstanding stage presence is because of a combination of all of that. He has the moves, the face, the voice, and the expressions all combined together and makes it look so natural on stage. A true performer!
