For boat noodles, should go down the lane, and eat at the pink shirt shop. Used to have that weekly when I used to stay in Victory Monument area. Those days, 10 years ago, it was only 10 baht for small bowl and 25 baht for big bowl. Miss this place.. Best place for cheap local shopping!

Hi, Chon. Love this content. Rather than crowding in the Pratunam or Pathumwan, you give us a new perspective on where to go nearby Phaya Thai area. Appreciate your story and history about the Victory Monument and the King Power (duty free). Just a suggestion for you, after watching this video part 17:20-18:00, how about if you gives us some suggestions on where to go the local pharmacy and what to expect and what to get. Just like in Japan, they have kusuriya / yakkyoku 薬局, like Matsumoto Kiyoshi. Maybe in Bangkok, they have similar one? Thank you, Chon!!!!!😁😁

Biggest Muslim community in Bangkok is in the district of NongJok and Minburi. Both areas are in the outskirt to the east of city. There are many good Halal food shops and restaurants including beautiful mosques. Next year, the Pink Line sky train from the downtown Bangkok to NongJok and Minburi will be completed and open to the public.Until then the transportation will be much more accessible, convenient and even faster.
