I definitely agree to that. BTS is indeed different from the rest. What sets BTS apart from other groups, not just EXO, is the level is the energy they give out during performances. These guys wear their hearts out in their sleeves. Passion exudes through and through. Personally, EXO has better vocals. I love EXO's vocals but when it comes to performance, BTS takes home the trophy. Not just in Asia but the world stage.

To me EXO looked like they were counting steps the difficulty showed all over their faces. However, BTS made one of their hardest choreographies look easy and they kept energy high til the end. You really get a feeling about how much they love to perform on stage and how greatful they are for the life they are leading.🔥💜 Ever since I became part of ARMY, no one seems to compare to BTS. 💜 BTS +ARMYS 🌎💜=STRONGER TOGETHER &YOUNG FOREVER 💜

Exo had a concert in Japan that ended the day before this performance and the had to fly to Hong Kong do the rehearsal and perform in less than 24 hours, you can see kai and sehun rehearsing and discussing their dance stage while watching the other artists perform

I think BTS seems to have given more thought and effort to the staging and overall effect. They use the entire stage and create incredible set design that leaves a huge impression. Their choreography feels more cohesive as a group even when they're showcase one member for just a few moments during a song, the other members are setting up to smoothly transition into the next step. It's just more polished. And when the members are dancing in unison, their synchronization as well as how hard they dance is unmatched and unrivaled. And of course, their songs have an intense driving beat that draws you in. It's the whole package.
