this whole concept is titled “Wings” because it will consist of two sides or personas or people of something that joins them to understand each other. given that it’s obviously yoongi who’s jungkook was painting in the video bighit released. to elaborate more, each of them represents any side of the wings (left and right) or world, for that matter, since they already provided a connection to the Demian book. at the start of the video namjoon narrated, “two different worlds coming from two opposite poles.” and these poles mentioned could be yoongi and jungkook. then namjoon continued with “…mingled during this time.” notice that jungkook was mouthing “형…” in the short film which could mean one (JK) is not complete without the other (YG) so jungkook is probably longing for yoongi. for his hyung to be there. but the amazing part is that this wing knows what’s his missing and he wants his counterpart. if jungkook is the right or left wing is something i’m not sure of. I hope it'll help

Yes, elements are from the previous series. But the new elements and the opening quote is from an early 1900s German novel, Demian, by Herman Hesse. It was my favorite book in high school, so I can promise all these shorts make a lot more sense if you read it. And two, I could not have been more shocked when they did this. I can't remember the last time that book came up in conversation or I met someone who had also read it. And now, for the last few days it's everywhere. I swear to god these boys, they keep surprising me, I don't even know what to do with myself.

I think this is based on the book "Demian" from Herman Hesse were the protagonist lives between the "good and bad world", light and darkness. He draws Demian in the night when he has nightmares and also a lot of birds. In the book, he has dreams of an egg, and after the egg hatch it symbolises that he found himself and is at peace with his identity, and the equilibrium that human kind has between good and evil withing ourselfs. RapMonster's quote at the begining is, in fact, a quote from that book.

Well, apparently (I don't claim to be able to read Hangul) the line of words in Hangul is a line from BTS' Tomorrow and that particular line is sung by JK in Tomorrow, so... *mindblown* They are certainly referencing or tying in the early works and the HYYH storyboard to this new one.

As much as it is confusing, it's a pretty genius concept - and a refreshing one in K-pop. And personally, I do no think there is ONE big, ultimate conclusion to their storyboard - rather, they're leaving it open to many probabilities, hence, the mounting interpretations from the fandom. I believe that the picture JK holds when we hear him sing is Yoongi, the painting is either JK and Yoongi combined or Tae, and the bird represents Hobie(?) If this was to be connected to HYYH then the car crash would make since from I Need U along with the fire burning Yoongi and water drowning Jimin. RapMon is the mysterious one because we never actually saw him directly do something that would kill him like the others' scenes did. The piano is interesting as it has been a part in many of BTS' videos and I'm not exactly sure about Jin. But all of that is based off of Wings and the HYYH era were to be connected. If not then we're fucked.

The painting looks similar to Jungkook but we know that V and Kookie look alike sooo? And the drawing may be Yoongi and obviously Rapmon in the beginning. The fire might also reference to Suga's problem being a pyro, and if it is V then all the water makes sense in regards to him essentially drowning after committing suicide in the Prolouge, and why the painting was "crying" or dripping. Jungkook is also implemented as the "main focus" in this short film, it was the same in Run and I Need You when it showed Kookie by himself sitting down by the couch in Run and when he was trying his hardest with Suga. Why was he the only one to get hit by a car, why did he have these things happen when in reality, according to what's shown in the Most Beautiful Moments series he didn't do too much, like Rap Mon, he just got beaten up. Both are essentially the backbone now after Jin passed away. Other then that the "boy meets what" question is still debatable, is "what" an acronym, who knows???

"Who had nothing... The 15 years old me" Jungkook started being in bts when he was 15 so maybe it is related? The piano burning is the same from danger? I don't think it's going to be a sub-unit because just before bighit uploaded this, a bangtan bomb was uploaded with all of the members, and I can't remember but I think Kookie was in that outfit or in something similar, and they said they were on a set filming so i doubt the sub-unit thing, but who knows😂

I kinda want to see them doing something new, like they done, cute, bad ass boys, sweet, sad, happy, hype/party. I would like seeing them maybe going towards a more grown up look. I can't really explain but the best example i can give is Taemin from Shinee, he went from that cute maknae boy to the sexy , grown up, mature guy with his Danger era. Maybe a devilish bts would be cool idk. I think whatever this is if it's related or not with new songs coming out or the beginning of a new era for bts, im excited and i heard Rap Mon saying that they already have a lot songs ready, it's just a matter of choosing what they want to release. I just honestly hope they are getting some rest because they been traveling like crazy with concerts, then coming in and out of Korea for those Isac olympic idol games, then traveling right after to Manila for yesterday concert... crazy really. As a fan i want to see more and more but i kinda wish they would take a month or two, doing nothing but what they want. Being idols they have their youth experiences completely taken away, and with them spending xmas and new years doing shows it almost makes me feel as if idols are some sort of circus animals traveling from place to place to entertain people and having little to none free time. IKR.. I think like you too~ I want them to rest a bit without doing something relate to their idol thing just for a week or month. We know that firsy year they're busy with run promotion and prepare for young forever comeback. After that, every week they're busy out in seoul to do epilogue Asia tour. But I recognize if eventhough they're sometimes or often look tired, they're really enjoy on stage. Like its their half life too. And I think bighit management its pretty good for them, to give a short travelling to norway like 20s people. I just hope in tough schedule, they truly feel happiness and keep healthy..

ntzkyh 95 Yea, you're right, it's just that i see many of their videos and it's countless the times i see them sleep in those videos. When i read through comments i see people saying how cute they look sleeping and all, but maybe because im a guy i see it for a different perspective and i feel like it's sad that their sleeping in chairs, while getting their make up done, car chairs traveling one place to other, xmas/new year shows they are recording for tv show performances, etc. And while their young they can still overcome it, i know also that it cannot be healthy. I was watching today a performance from them, [KCON 2016 Abu Dhabi] BTS - Butterfly, and Jimin looks so drained, he looked to me he was about to just faint at any giving point. That was just one example in many others but i guess they are happy doing what they love to do, so hopefully nothing bad ever happens and they just stay well. :)

But we have to know that they still can playing around eventhough they're tired. They all dorky, just the way they are and this is way BTS got so much love. Sometimes I got dilemma. I want them rest long enough. But in another time I miss them and want they comeback. I'm just believe, eventhough every year in they look busy to the year end eve, bighit is nice enough to give them a week holiday to their hometown. You know its so rarely kpop group idol have.

I dunno~ I just feel bon voyage is a show about their idol travelling in different level. Like they dont have script, just playing around and manage themself without help their manager. Its not like idol travelling show who usually we can saw. In bon voyage we can see the truth of their personality. I think that they r only going to make 4 of these videos because they r going to go off of the pairings in run, I need u and the prologue. So they have one for Suga and jungkook, one for Jimin and jhope, one for V and Rap Monster, and one for Jin. That's what I think but I am probably wrong so don't believe it too much.
