Actually, it's an entire storyline. So it begins with I Need U (19+ version [MAKE SURE IT'S 19+]), Prologue, Run, Epilogue: young forever, THENNNN the Wings Short films, ~~optional: boy meets evil trailer then blood sweat and tears Off the top of my head, those are the most important. There's more tidbits to the storyline tho, someone else can input lol And just a hint for the wings short films and a couple other videos. Every member is linked with another. V with RM, Jimin with J-Hope, Suga with Jungkook, and Jin is kinda like overseeing everyone.

wings is the album that has each members solo with their own song on it. begin was jongkunk song ( sorry i misspelled his name). these short films are basically trailer for their song. and they have interview explain what each song meant to them. also react to v short films. its very deep. blood sweat and tear is the main song on the album. all made in 2016.

Zenita Savitri I don’t really think spring Day is a part of the storyline because it doesn’t say BU(Bighit/BTS universe) at the bottom. Rather it’s a stand alone piece to protest the Sewol Ferry tragedy. The one thing from it that we’ve been applying from it to the storyline is OMELAS but we don’t know for sure we’re just assuming

trulylashton 1. In no more dream, the boys being depicted in the storyline are still in school. But they are “2 kool 4 Skool” that’s why they have such an edge to them. This is the part in the storyline when they are all together, young and unbothered because none of the calamities of I need u have befallen them yet. In N.O they are breaking free from the constraints of society. In boy in luv and Just one day ( everything in Skool love affair) they are still innocent and happy. Except Jin who seems to be listening to someone’s commands ( through the earpiece he has and trades in to the magic shop later on) The storyline takes an interesting turn in I need u, because we see the boys struggle and their lives fall apart. Their “house of cards” falls. They relate to struggles like child abuse drug addiction and depression. In blood sweat and tears they embrace all the corruption ... Then you know what happens next :)

trulylashton Singularity and serendipity play crucial roles in the storyline: 1. Serendipity sets the tone for love yourself her because Jimin is asking someone to love him and is basically saying everything is fine, even though towards the end of the video we see the world shaking and it seems like things are falling apart Jimin has a smile on his face. It shows how they fell into a trap and are accepting the “fake love”. They’re basically oblivious 2. Singularity is important because it’s basically showing that they’ve realized how fake the love is. It’s the point where the boys realize that they’ve changed all because they were searching for love. It sets the tone for the epiphany of what they really need to do: Love themselves:) I’m excited to see what happens next.

You have to watch other short films because they actually connected, this one is connected to the short film 4 the Suga was in.. the painting that Jungkook had in his hand was Suga's face.. I think Jungkook was trying to save Suga (if you watch short film 4 you would understand) notice the whistle you would hear in short film 4 too, also you would see the burning piano there.. (Suga is known for playing the piano, we see that in blood sweet and tears) So if there is a piano it's mostly connected to Suga (like in fake love too) Jungkook dreamed about someone having an accident (without spoiling anything if you watch short film 4 you would see what I mean with the accident) Also Jungkook screamed Hyung (older brother in Korean) in 1:46 in that video, he was like scared of losing someone.. This short film called begin and Jungkook solo also called begin.. in that album everyone had a solo song.. Suga's was first love

Also YES it is connected to Blood Sweat and Tears. The Short films are each named after the solo songs from the Wings album, the same album Blood Sweat and Tears is on Begin is Jungkook's solo song Lie is Jimin's. Stigma is V's . First Love is Suga's. Reflection is RM's. Mama is J-Hope's . Awake is Jin's. The short films are connected with a lot of other videos. Ya'll are pretty good at analysing what's going on. They use a lot of symbolism and imagery that seem random but are actually reoccuring. The piano, for example is a reoccuring symbol, and so is the car crash sound you can hear in the beginning of the video. You'll learn wht they mean if you keep watching the storyline ;)

You, both, are so confused hahahaha! Those short films are actually like teasers/trailers of their solo songs in the Wings album where Blood Sweat and Tears is the title song. Yeah you are right Blood Sweat and Tears connect to the story, but on a bigger picture, BTS have a storyline on their MV’s eversince they started. So don’t worry when you’re confuse, because Bighit and BTS don’t tell the exact story they just give these things for us to really discuss. Honestly this whole storyline is sooooo hard to understand. But when you guys watch all the short films and watch blood sweat and tears Japanese version ( its soo trippy) you’ll understand a bit more. If you remember, in blood swear and tears Namjoon drank a green drink. That drink is called absinthe ( hope I spelled it correctly) and basically when you drink it once you see the world as you want to, drink it twice to see the world as it could be, and drink it tree times and you see the world as it truly is and that’s supposedly the worst thing you could ever see, I won’t spoil but Namjoon made kookie drink a whole glass of this drink in blood sweat and tears Japanese version and he was fucked up, threw up, and passed out. Also in this storyline tae is theorized to be the devil or angel of death, in this universe. I also recommend you watch I need you 19+ version because that adds to the storyline especially for tae, but I won’t spoil anything. I will say that the events that happen in the I need u 19+ version have a big part to play in tae short film Stigma.

The wings are based mainly on the book Demian by Hermen Hesse which shows a young man's journey, specifically growing up. There are more symbolisms that relate back to the same thing, like Odyssey and the lost boys of foreverland(?). Try reading the book and watching and reading theories but it just goes in circles and in the end, there are a few main themes and plot similarities which include letting go to be free and happier and many more that is about the person and who he becomes and just growing up in general as all the boys in BTS are young men as well. Also another good theme: Love Yourself. 🙂 Edit: I kinda gave up trying to figure it out since it's not necessarily solvable, or just leads to different things and the main themes( which changes and grows as time goes). Besides, I should focus on my SOLs instead, they're not as complicated as the theories but close and kinde required. Lol.

Don't stress too much guys! To be honest starting from I need you, all of the mv's after I need you follows up on the story of Damian and the seven sins (and someone in the comments please correct t me if im wrong)They recently just closed this story line or ended it with the song idol and epiphany. At least we think so, so far:). But everything sorta becomes clearer if you really want go back to I need you and follow the videos in order from there. Love how guys take time to think and discuss about the video! Also, I would highly suggest watching to their WINGS solo songs, the lyric version. Because their solo songs play a part as well in understanding so read the lyrics well!:)

The whole wings series is a big bundle of connectedness :) You need to watch all the short films in order (there are 7) and keep a look out for the all the finer details because EVERY little symbol means something. Then look into their solo songs (with lyrics) if you haven't already (Jungkook-begin, Jimin-Lie, V-Stigma, Suga-First Love, RM-Reflection, Jhope-Mama and Jin-Awake). Alot of armys newer ones, in particular, will find it all very confusing as well all did when this was released so no sweat. You can always look up wings short films theory videos too if you like. The painting on fire represents Suga in the hotel room while he sets it on fire, thr room and the piano, so he's angry because he cannot help him. Though in an alternative reality, he manages to take Suga out of the burning fire. And he dreams about the car because in an alternative reality he is hit by a car. Piano symbolize Suga.. and the broken glass is when Suga throws a brick into a glass window. Because he was more connected to Suga. The bruised eye, is when he faught with Suga, and Jungkook gets beaten up by some guys. Basically is a short preview for all alternative universes. On the paper is a crow, crow ussualy sybolizes death. Which is both him, in the car accident, and Suga when he burns in his room.

WINGS is based on 'DEMIAN' a 1919 Herman Hesse novel that explores the psyche of the narrator Sinclair as he grows up & loses his innocence EDIT: V's role in Blood, Sweat & Tears was 'Demian'. Remember when Jin kissed the statue? Jin's role is he's Sinclair so V is the statue 'Demian' and Demian means Demon so that's why he had wounds on his back and wings came out of it

Yes those short films came out before Blood Sweat and Tears, they were leading to the BSaT music video. They are meant to be like an intro to the Wings album. There are 7 short films and each member has a solo song that goes with it! Looking forward to the next one!

the paper he picked up from the floor was a drawing of Yoongi. then the painting was a mixture of Yoongi and Jungkook, Yoongi's mother died in their house and since that, he started to play with fire because fire was the cause of his mother's death, and he has a piano in his house that was owned by his mom and he played it some time with Jungkook. before those things, Jungkook played the piano in Danger MV

Love your reaction . You guys are good and pretty much on point. BS&T is thematically referencing a novel by Herman Hesse titled Demian. It is about a boy and his love and friendship with Demian while coming of age and losing his innocence. The narrative in the beginning of this is a quote from the same novel and so is the narrative in the BS&T MV. This BEGIN is reenacting a scene in the novel where the protagonist is painting a portrait of his friend Demian (V). The other Wings short films follow the same Demian references and symbolism and it is all thematically about losing our innocence of childhood and becoming an adult individual through the light and dark of our experiences. You don't have to have read the book Demian to understand what is the point of the Wings short films.

You can’t put together the theories and meanings of the short films until you’ve watched he’s them all. They’re all like puzzle pieces, the first one doesn’t make sense until you have all the pieces aka until you have watched all of the short films. And All of the short films are each individual members solo songs on the wings album, Begin is Jungkook’s solo album that’s why it’s Jungkook in the short films explaining his side of the story in an abstract form. And The other 6 short films are for the other 6 members. For example, Jimins solo song on the wings album is Lie so his short film is Lie. You should Live Stream you guys watching all 7 of the Short Films and while you’re watching them, don’t try to come up with any theories bc then you’ll just get it all confused bc you NEED to watch all 7 Short Films to understand and put it all together. And yes the member with the wings torn off in Blood Sweat And Tears was V. And Short Film #1 Begin only has Jungkook in it because it’s his Solo song on the wings album.

Also, I don't know if you've ever heard of the novel Demian by Hermann Hesse, but the lines that are said in the beginning of the short film are excerpts from the book. They follow a lot of themes from the book as well.

Jk is thinking of how the piano was on fire and it reminds him of Yoongi and he sees the picture on fire but it’s not actually in fire he is just imagining it that is why he is crying when it’s in the rain and not when it’s in the fire Gosh that a lot of “fire”
