It’s about freakin time they got something other than a social media award!! These guys are so talented, what they are doing in the music industry right now, not even boy bands here in the US have really done, not straight out of the gate anyways. They write about social issues and commentary, have free reign over their creativity and write over 90% of their own music. They rap. I grew up with NKOTB and New Edition, N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, etc. Those “boy bands” are bubble gum pop music, even though I do love them. But they never made music like this! Sonically and lyrically, they have NOTHING on BTS. BTS is changing the boy band status quo, not only in Korea but all over the world, including here in the States. The Grammy’s needs to wake up and really see and listen to what these men are doing. These guys belong more with the Beatles and Rolling Stones with what they are doing. I’m an older ARMY, I’m so happy they’re finally get their dues 💜 Now the music industry needs to really pay attention!!

I cried when they won Artist of the year in Korea back in 2016, 2017,2018 but I cried very hard when they won this award at the AMAs. I am so incredibly proud of them. I can still remember them being so nervous & excited to perform for the first time at the AMAs in 2017.. they have come so far. Stay humble, hardworking, loving and kind BTS! Hahaha....ahhhh! This DUO never missed to give us joy & happiness!! JIN moves to stop and pull JK was so smart, it made us all left hanging and become more excited to look forward to BTS year 2022! At first, I thought JK forgot a part of his speech OR this could be their script/planned but it looks so real and so funny when JIN tried to stop JK from giving a lengthy speech to give way to other members to speak.... but the timing was perfect when JK said twice ".... the year 2022 we will focus on..." and OMG we were laughing endlessly because JIN's timing was perfect and I was thinking he stop JK to spill the beans of BTS exciting plans for 2022..! It was so memorable..JIN and JK pair is so perfect...always giving us a good laugh...hahaha!!! One of AMA's greatest scenes on stage. This one is for the books! You gotta love BTS!
