I was thinking that by the sender saying they “can’t offer protection,” it meant that they have a case but they can’t protect their privacy in terms of their names and faces because of the kind of case it would be. I imagine in the discovery process of the case they would need to explicitly identify them in order the make the case.

I totally understood what Tammy was saying. At some point your partner stands in that role of being the 1st person you want to share news with, regardless of any other friendship or family you have built up. And it makes so much sense because that's kinda how it's supposed to be, true transparency, comfort, joy, etc, with that person because they are you're PARTNER! It just becomes unfortunate when you've built that kind of relationship with someone and for one reason or another it ends. It takes a while to fill that void. I think I get what Sharon is saying in trying to avoid that situation but the honest truth is that 1)till you have been there you don't know how it is, 2)there is joy in finding your person and having the kind of relationship where you can lean on them and vice versa, and 3) your non romantic relationships will never be the same as the romantic ones. Both should have a level of unconditional love and shared emotions so that you stay balanced as an individual and do not neglect one in favor of another ❤

So, the Court takes into account special cases like this. Your lawyer can make a special application to the Court that the matter be heard privately (chambers) and not in public.

My advice to her would be to try and reach out to the other ladies if she knows them and see what their take on it would be, maybe they would want to fight the case as well and so financially it may be easier. The funny thing is that she only saw the group chat... God only knows who else he has sent them to and maybe he's selling the pics as well. Some rules and regulations needs to be changed cus the system is messed all the way up
