I went to his first game for United at Oxford away. We were awful and lost 2-0. I never had a clue on the journey he would take united and me on following United all over Europe. I thank him so much. What i love most tho about listening to this man now even at his age, is that his memory is fantastic

Thanks Ally.Great to reflect on Sir Alex time in football and hear Duncan Edwards mentioned .Brought back a memory for me as a boy on the terraces with my grandfather watching him play against Bournemouth in the FA Cup.

Really enjoyed this interview. Always good to see Sir Alex, but also well done to Ally who set a great tone during the whole interview. One of my favourite interview of Sir Alex, and I've seen quite a few...

Didn't dwell on his time as a Rangers player. They treated him very badly.

Back in time he was fantastic at St Mirren. Built them into a right good team. He was touring the town in a car park with a speaker asking folk to support the club. Never out the paper at schools trying to get support for the club. Maximum effort.

Without doubt the Greatest British Football manager, doesn't matter what club anyone supports everyone respects Sir Alex for what he's won in England Scotland & in Europe. Look at the state of Man United since his retirement.

How is it without doubt? Bob Paisley has a good shout, so does Herbert Chapman, even Cloughie.

The Greatest Manager Ever! What he did at Aberdeen was magnificent and taking predominantly english players to the promise land.
