Robbie will always be "God" but he did get too big for his boots before Houllier moved him on. If he kept his head, he would have been a Legend. He is a legend...but not with a capital L. Joint manager was partly because of Robbie and the culture at the club at the time. Robbie was a spice boy and did throw his weight around when he should have been respecting the club. Simple as that.

Robbie Fowlers actual footballing ability, is probably the lowest out of him, Owen, Torres, Suarez, and Salah. But the difference between him and them (probably excluding Salah) is that Fowler scored goals, and worked his hardest to be the best he could, was because he was playing for Liverpool, and he wanted Liverpool to win. Owen, Torres, Suarez, their goal was to be the best players they could be, because they wanted to achieve things and win trophies, to elevate their own game and reputation. Not to say they didn't care about their clubs, they all probably cared a lot about whatever club they played for. But that's the difference, Robbie wanted to succeed with Liverpool, he valued the clubs success just as much and maybe more than his own, and that passion and love, allowed him to reach those levels of determination, and that's what brought him up to the level of those players

I have enjoyed watching this series and in the Gary Linekar episode for example they show and talk about all the kits he wore and teams he played for. It's obviously called 'what i wore' Robbie Fowler played for Liverpool, Leeds, Man City, Cardiff, Blackburn. North Queensland and Perth in Australia and Muangthong United in Thailand strangely enough. Yet this episodes talks only of ,and only shows kits from, his two spells at Liverpool and very briefly mentions in passing 'United' presumably Leeds.
