People who say Fury hasnt got KO power don't understand boxing, he chooses to box instead of loading up on his shots and leaving himself open to counters. He's got very heavy hands and automatically gains the respect of his opponents. They know they can't just walk through his punches despite him not loading up. As we saw with Joshua loading up on your shots is not a good idea against anyone in the HW division.

Yep Foreman started from scratch by fighting low level guys then slowly but surely he started moving up the ranks beating mid level guys then he started to really get going by beating and fighting top ten guys then he finally got a crack at the title. People were thinking he was a joke but Foreman was knocking out everyone he was fighting. Moorer thought he would get a easy defense before he fought someone like Bowe or Lewis but stood in front of Foreman and paid the price.

@dfpguitar5 жыл бұрын
@Daniel Khan yeah if either was announced as a winner nobody would see it as legitimate, as neither fighter really won / dominated the other. So everyone would be waiting on the rematch regardless. It was a success for Fury though because he wasn't expected to do this well, against the man who is probably the most athletic in all of boxing. Wilder did seem to be hurting fury especially with the 12th round knockout, but once Fury got up he dominated the remainder of the round and it looked like wilder was about to get dropped. If there was a 13th round I'd have better on Fury winning by KO. But there isn't, so we need a rematch!

@dfpguitar5 жыл бұрын
@@archiesutherland6127 but he gets the potential of an even better comeback plus many valuable (money earning) fights in between. If he had finished wilder, the lack of contenders in heavyweight would've meant the division would stagnate and there would be little in the way of meaningful fights for Fury. But now even schwarz is an important fight, if he loses all the wilder plans and legacy goes down the pan. So the two fights he plans before wilder will be very profitable and meaningful.

Whatever happens in this man career, like Muhammed Ali he touches and reaches the lesser men, the lesser people those of us that are never going to be world champions, those of us that have to struggle every day with making a living endeavouring to look after our family struggling with mental problems, this man Tyson Fury is without a doubt the most beautiful heart of a man, the most greatest of men, just listening to him means I can go on, I can and will survive, tell me is there any other man on this planet that fights again his own problems and yet still finds time to talk to me, and to those with similar problems - whatever Tyson’s career holds he’s already the greatest and certainly saved my life - big love to Tyson and everyone x

Thats nonsense, Lomachenko gets called P4P best all day long by all the best known pundits. If anything the world of boxing is a little tired of black guys dominating heavyweight division, so it is much bigger news if a white guy is doing well. He may squeeze into the P4P top 5, but certainly not easily. There is too much talent at lower weights, like Crawford, Lomachenko etc. And if Andy Ruiz's destruction of AJ was legit and not because A Joshua was unwell, then surely Ruiz needs to be considered as one of the best. No one imagined even Wilder walking through AJ like Ruiz did.

Tyson Fury can fight, plain and simple. The dude can flat out box, and in my opinion is one of the slickest boxers the heavyweight division has ever seen. The way he beat Klitschko was remarkable, not to mention his comeback. I am glad he gets to fight wilder again. The first fight was so entertaining. Regardless of who wins the second fight, as a boxing fan I am just so appreciative of this fight being made. Two legit heavyweights, one has the power to turn a diamond into dust, while the other has some slick skills for a big man. Tyson Fury has that confident movement, swagger, and technical ability to beat any heavyweight out there. I hope Fury can continue to bring over new fans to boxing, because he has a great personality as well. I can definitely see him wrestling more in WWE and I can definitely see him in American movies/cinema. He deserves to be a Hollywood Star, and I think he’s well on his way to doing so.
