Southgate made a massive mistake taking Rice off on that final. It was that decision that lost us that final. Some would say it was them 2 subs for the penalties but if he didn’t take Rice off for Henderson we would of won that in playing time. Even the Italians said once Rice went off we knew we could win it. 🤬

great interview Dec always conducts himself so well West Ham captain and we know for England to win the world cup he needs to be captain , i went to watch him at little league just before he went to chelsea ,there was a foul in penalty area Dec picked up the ball to take all the other players all wanted to take the Pen but dec was not giving the ball up to nobody it was very funny to watch all these 7yr olds on both sides trying to get the ball of him ,he scored and stood out even then as a player , i hope he sticks with west ham but if he left for city id wish him the best as i did with joe cole both great players and great for west ham

With that sub, Southgate lost us any chance of winning that game before of penalties. He was properly beginning to boss the midfield at that point. I assumed he was tired, but if he was, he was still playing better than the rest of the midfield. He did one run where he just piled through the Italians ending in a great through ball I think. I heard the Italians couldn’t believe he was being taken off either. Southgate better grow a pair for this WC, otherwise we’ll be just missing out again, Rice & Bellingham - the future of England’s midfield.

Joe Cole was one of my favourite players growing up and because he played in England he didn't get to realise his full potential, if he went abroad he would of been more free to play his creative way but in England got to run run run, bsllon dor winners don't run and he would of been one of the best.... Dont rate Declan Rice at all and just hope he doesn't come to Manchester United. So overrated its unreal, we have gone from Keane,Viera, Beckham , Scholes, Cole, Gerrard and Lampard to rating Declan Rice who played for Ireland first and to do that says a lot about his character, he cant be a good loyal trusted person to do that!.... Annoying to hear him saying things like "people don't realise how hard it is".... And Cole stop saying "yeah yeah teah yeah" yeah"
