As good as Darren is there's some significant difference between Darren and bisping. Bispings overall takedown defense and BJJ was significantly better than Darren. Bisping early on dropped and settled in at 185 lbs, bisping never struggled to make weight and along with that his conditioning was always incredible, Darrens muscle tone looks incredibly soft, he's either not lifting or carrying too much body fat. In reality he's optimally a welteright. Bisping was never a power house, but he was lean and muscular at 185. Bisping never dropped two fightd in a row until the very end of his career. He battled his entire career and earnt a shot, Darren was pushed too early because he's so marketable. Darren needed to push his grappling and move camps many fights ago. Bisping always put his skills and improvent as a priority above all else. Imo, bisping always wanted it more, and he sacrificed more to get that belt. I truly think Darren is more naturally gifted. But talent alone doesn't make a world champion. I hope he can change it up and get serious, he's one fight from being cut. A position bisping never let himself fall into.

but it seems to me till's tdd is a lot of brute force, which can work well on grapplers smaller than till. it's not like 185 doesn't have grapplers... if he wants to get down to 170 he should take a year off and size down, if he wants to stay at 185 he should grow into his frame and fukn bring in some people to work on his tdd, as well as adding variation to his striking

@@pbleezy12 I like Leon a lot. The UFC doesn’t want that man to win. We’ve seen this story before. They don’t want a champ that does not have that star quality. The problem with Leon is he just keeps winning. That man can fight. But his personality is dry as fook!

Question is: "Does Till have the mindset to be able to stick with it, keep pushing through the heartbreak, weather the storm?" If he doesn't have mental toughness to cut weight, I wonder man. I respectfully disagree with Michael's suggestion of going back down to welterweight. He struggled to make that weight and got ko'd by the smaller Masvidal and submitted by the smaller Woodley. But he went 5 rounds with Robert Whittaker. Till looks great when a game plan is going his way but has no sense of direction when it's not. I agree that his wrestling and jiu-jitsu are the weakest aspects of his game but he also needs to learn to better adjust and adapt round by round in a fight. If he can develop those he'll be up there with the best in my humble opinion.

Till is not done. To all the mma fans out there saying Till should retire or he’s not good enough to get to the title, he’s good enough to almost beat Whittaker and nearly starched Brunson. He’s still elite and he’s only 28. It’s all about small things that make a difference. If Till could just get his takedown defense on lock we are looking at a certified title contender. He’s right there with the best of them and he’s a man on a mission.

It's the title talk that ruins him I think, he's looking past his current opponents and focusing too much on the route to title contention. Till (and many others) should take a leaf out of Jack Shore's mentality and look to be in the UFC to gradually work their way up and learn from each fight.
