He really is very good. Very good indeed. He's slightly handicapped in that he doesn't have the ideal face for an impressionist, which is round and malleable and therefore can be stretched to imitate a wind range of facial types - think for example of Jon Culshaw or Rory Bremner, or going back a bit, Mike Yarwood. But Alistair does his best to overcome this.

He's English & by doing English impressions that's not much to be proud of or impressive, I'm a foreigner & I can pull a good English characters impressions & I do a way better Jose Mourinho & LVG by far. With Jose he spoke too fast it's like he was under pressure & that's not how Jose speaks. & as with LVG he sounded like a monster. I mean the guy is not an ogre
