Him and Beterbiev are my 2 favourite boxers in the world. Gonna hurt seeing one of them take the defeat but what an amazing matchup this is.

The fact he choose Ali and Bruce Lee for his answers, it's not so surprising the "flow" type of boxing style he has chosen to adopt. He's trying to emulate his idols. Fact he lists Leonard's two iconic displays of boxing masterclass from distance as his two favorite fights to watch tells me he is on the right track in terms of the right game plan to beat Beterbiev. I've highlighted those two fights as the best analogies to this matchup. The only Q is ... can Bivol be as good at it at LHW as Sugar was at welter and middle weight ? A tall order to keep seek and destroy boxers of that caliber at bay for 12 full rounds. At any weight, never mind LHW. I think he's going to have to stop and trade to get BET's respect sooner or later and that's when we'll find out if he's really that slick
