I agree with the commentators - the matchup is all about not doing bad options - Fox simply doesn't have the leeway in this matchup, and you gotta play patient, solid, and lab things out. It's not as terrible as some might say, but it's punishing for foxes who just want to run in and do sick stuff - you'll get shat on for that, and the things Marth can pull off against Fox, especially one as god as Zain, can be super demoralizing. You gotta just play like armada did and how zain does,but it's HARD playing someone like that and tryng to beat them at their own game - you also have to play your own sometime, and hope it works.

@@comettitun8087 Armada played against Zain and won as Fox on Battlefield in the Summit before Armada retired. Granted, Zain has leveled up immensely since then, so Armada's Fox would probably struggle more.

The saddest about the comment section and this video is that Fiction isn't even playing remotely good. The guy's movement looks like he's half asleep. Yet every fox is saying "wow look at that, Zain is playing badly and still won". Does anyone else not think that maybe when two players both play poorly, the better player wins and its not all char MU?

Leffen beat Zain at smash and splash 2019 and GOML 2019. he even 4 stocked him in the sns dreamland match.

Both those sets were close. But Zain completely dismantled Leffen at TBH9 and this tournament.

@@cottonmather8146 Yeah, and the characters remain the same but Zain got a lot better in that time. E.g. 2nd at Big House 9 then 1st at Genesis 7, which are two super majors. These blowouts can be attributed to Zain simply getting better from grinding the game way more than Leffen, and Leffen playing subpar due to a bit of rust/being scared of marth in tourney (e.g. zain says he is much better in friendlies). As mang0 suggested, maybe himself, zain, and hbox are just better than leffen at the moment because...you know...they play the game more. It isn't automatically because falco/marth/puff beats fox (which leffen claims all 3 of them do).

He started doing the stuff Mew2King did against Leffen and pushed it further which is why he's doing so well against Leffen recently. He stopped the use of excessive dash dancing and abuses the Marth's ridiculous range while fully capitalizing on all his edge guards.

XtreamDream yea no doubt Zain is a god and is pushing the marth meta but that doesn’t mean that this match up isn’t 6-4, if anything it makes it worse that they have to now deal with a monster like Zain using the character.

Especially since zain say falco has it harder and mango out right said he will use fox on zain when leffen starts to complain.

How pot pools could be bigger. Host summit and tournaments like it for pros only at big venues and sell tickets. We cant grow as a spectator sport until we separate the pros from the rookies. All that needs to be said.

I actually don’t agree with you. The reason summit is special is because it’s only for the elite players. Any other tournament rookies get washed anyways. This tournament has mini games not only singles and such. More people would ruin what makes it special
