@10:44 when slime is saying moresecode isn't doing mixups from ledge is such bad commentary. He is doing so many mixups from ledge in this series that slime can't even pick up on (AI from ledge, NIL from ledge, missile, charge shot, roll, regrab, ledge dash, fair, etc)

Probably not a Samus player. Also light be because Morse is a it slower than most expect so he probably didn't pick up on it. Slime is mostly there to be the funnier commentator usually

Yo, this guy is playing FENOMENAL with that Samus! And commentators... "Mag0 is sooo goood" not even talking about what's being played, just... reminiscing. Just remembering good times. Such nice times, to speak so much filler and not mentioning, btw, that a young Samus player is proving himself and the world to be of worth against the top 2 or top 1 best player of all times (which means not even winning, just showing to be a no easy to beat opponent).

Props to Morse for his BH run in general- he'll learn a lot from simply playing against Mango.

He's fantastic, and as a Samus main, I want to say he's probably most definitely better than me and most, but I feel each Samus player has ways of rounding out their playstyles. I feel if Morsecode had faster reactions in some cases and was a bit more aggressive than others, that would have helped close the gap a little. I say this strictly from observation while not claiming to be better at the game. I strongly feel that each Samus main has had observable moments where they could round themselves out, and the character has yet to reach its full potential.

I agree that melee is more hardcore. But to be fair melee 9 months after it came out is in a different universe from where it is now and it's way too early to really say what kind of meta ultimate has. I love both games and I can't wait to see how they both evolve and grow.
@Saskaruto165 жыл бұрын
Games also didn't advance as fast back then for a multitude of reasons. Tech couldn't be shared as fast or efficiently, people couldn't record and review their matches like they can now. 9 months in any major competitive scene in 2018-2019 is equivalent to many years back in 2001 scenes.
@w8ting4fri5 жыл бұрын
Saskaruto16 Sure I agree. But relationships and narratives still take about the same time to develop and that’s one of the biggest parts of a scene. Mango, Armada, Hbox these people and their stories took a long time to become what they are today. Also even if the first year of ultimate is equivalent to the first 3-4 years of melee that means we still have a long way to go to get to where melee is. I’m not even saying ultimate will get to where melee is I’m just saying it’s too early to tell for sure
