you need to move the pipe higher so it sprays down on the chain links, and you're supposed to spray as you wind the crank backwards

And supposed to hold the whole thing and press on thumb with left hand whilst cranking. Btw... I found it easier to crank forwards personally, not sure if direction matters much and by look of the video this method also worked well. Did you need to relube after?

@@_RandomPea Direction matters! This tool is asymmetric, that means it works in one direction.

Does Park Tool have this spray lubricant that's used with the drive train ?

This is a Muc Off product, and it’s for remove the dirty lubricant from your chain.

No you spray as you pedal backwards not spray then pedal back no no no because you contaminating it again with the dirty liquid so don’t do that.
