Sometimes you find things and you wonder “where have you been all my life?” This video is one of those things. As a Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan I’ve watched a lot of compilation videos and this is the best one I’ve seen.

I'm a sucker for thematic parallels, first and foremost. And let me tell you, you pulled them off so well, it looks effortless. Secondly, the editing. The tension created from the very specific cuts, like a breath being held. And the catharsis of the clips and the music working in tandem at the end, like that breath was released as a scream. This made Buffy and Angel look like what we fans always knew it as: an epic, full of heart, horror, and meaning. Thank you for this piece of art.

Okay so this video is all kinds of perfect!! I am in love with it!! First off you chose my fave Fleetwood Mac song!! Instantly when I saw the title I was like "NO WAY!!!" and what a different thing to do!! The song is basically one of the greatest breakup songs ever but you used it, not in a shippy video, but in a cast video! I don't know how you do it! SO different!! And the BUFFYNESS of this!! Using one of the greatest speeches EVER at the beginning and then the way you included that "take that away and what's left?" "Me." moment in the middle...SO POWERFUL!! The parallels though!! SO many amazing ones I have never seen put together!! Combining Tara's and Doyle's deaths! The first time Lilah and Spike encounter Wesley and Buffy! Buffy and Angel suffocating their respective siblings (Wes is the closest thing to a brother Angel has ok) Oh man and this isn't a parallel but Buffy shutting the door on Giles after "damn your lies"...yeah I love it!! hehe and Darla's voice over about betrayal when Buffy is kicked out by the group...so intense!! I think one of my fave parallels was the connection you made with the watchers finding their dead lovers. I never would have thought to connected The deaths of Jenny and Lilah, but that was SO cool!! You are a genius!! Aaaww Buffy with her sister and Gunn with his. At least one of them was able to save their sister, but ugh it is so sad that Gunn didn't get that! /cries/ Oh man Buffy and Wesley offering their blood to save Angel!! I LOVE YOUR PARALLELS!!! No one does this like you do!!! Oh wow and I got such chills when we get to the climax (this sounds dirty sorry lol) of the song!! Another parallel that I loved was the one you made between Cordy and Buffy when they can hear/feel all the pain around them and it becomes too much to take! Another connection I never made! So cool!! Oh and Darla and Faith crying in Angel's arms!! Gah!! This video is epic!! And all the Spuffy!! My shipper heart is weeping tears of joy!! So yeah I FREAKING LOVE THIS VIDEO!! IT IS DEFINITELY ONE OF YOUR BEST!!! Brilliant work! And happy birthday again!!!

I love this video, I've watched it so many times. I LOVE all the visual parallels, i think my favourite might be angel and holtz both losing their children to the sunlight. Phenomenal work!
