I didn't even get past level 4 on the last season pass. It feels like such a waste but at the same time it was so freeing. I've actually been enjoying gaming again and not feeling guilty (mostly) about Destiny 2.

It's nice until the realization hits that the stuff that isn't unlocked/claimed is forever lost at the end of the episode _despite_ being advertised as part of what you're paying for. That's been a real frustrating aspect of battle pass crap in general. You don't get all of what you're paying for upfront, you're forced to give your pound of flesh in playtime to unlock it all in a drip feed. Should be illegal, but like most junk games/software companies are getting away with: it's not yet :/

​@illitero yeah I really wish they'd let us keep working on the passes like halo does you buy it and you own it unlocking things at your own pace especially when that seasons activities continue to be in the game when the next one arrives so you could absolutely still make use of the buffs and materials we get from them even after it's over

@ that's cool, I didn't know Halo did it like that; and that's exactly how it should be done. Especially considering how the assets are not only paid for, but sitting on your drive anyway - and that can make up the grand majority of install size on live-service games. Storage space is a premium, especially on consoles. Bungie is TERRIBLE with the FOMO stuff, so many things sitting on our drives that we're maliciously kept from enjoying if we didn't jump the hoops within an arbitrary time period. Just let us have them! haha

Hey divide just wanted to bring up a quick interesting fact about this current season, if you got into the servers within like the first two or three hours you were able to see the usual “Season ends in x amount of days” counter and it said 161 days which would be July 15th which would give them about a month and two weeks over the initial year since the release of Final Shape now I’ve discussed the possible release date of Apollo with some of my friends and I’ve thought that with the quick shift in Bungie focus back to D2 and with the layoffs I’ve expected them to push it back possibly even further to perhaps September, October maybe even November just wanted to hear your thoughts, thought it was interesting to see them take that seasonal counter away and I haven’t seen anyone point it out

I think (and hope) that if Bungie will continue to add aspects and buffing the light sub classes, that they will do void at next, because compared to the rest, void is kinda underwhelming, the best part devour by far, no one use invisibility today, because why being invisible if you just can destroy everything with raw dmg
