Malaipet still has it woa. Even against buakaw who is really hard to keep up with it even in a excibition fight.

malaipet is at the same or above buakaw i have trained with malaipet, if you look at the description its the thai new year or festival they are not really fighting they are sparing/ demo how ever you wanna put it. Both are badass and never have i been at either one of their fights and seen them kick or knee that easy.

Cant believe some guys cant see this is only a demo. Would be a great fight though if it were to happen. Buakaw would be challenged

Last minute thing. They had to wear headgear because the California State Athletic Commission otherwise wouldn't let them do the show. It was not schedule on the CSAC in advance and they had no idea who these people The lead inspector said, if someone got hurt, cut or ko;d the State would be liable for not appropriately regulating this (medicals, cat scans, blood test, etc.). Our joke was, if you have over 200 fights you have to wear headgear again because it means you're old!

whoever thinks these two are equals doesn't know muay thai. the two have very different fight records and only one of them has fought more formidable opponents.

I was thinking the same thing... "Headgear?!". But to make sense of it... I think Malaipet isn't quite on the same level as Buakaw; so therefore, the headgear.
