I said this in the original animation and I'll say it here. If Undyne were alive and saw this fight, on the off chance she didn't join in, she would be damn proud of these two for the fight they gave. Hell, despite their quirks, they're sentries for a reason. All that needed to happen was for Phase 6 to have Asgore get off his ass and help them.

The crazy thing for me, alongside the music and voices, is just how Papyrus.. never really gets tired, does he? He gets doubts, but that's it. Sans is the complete opposite, being more than willing to kill the human, but runs out of stamina pretty quickly, relatively speaking. For all we know, if Papy didn't have any doubts, it could go on forever
