I FREAKING LOVE IT!! Thank you James for just coming out and saying it. The kid is a bad little dude. It's in his blood. He's respectful enough. He doesn't try to hurt anyone. But he is going to get all he can to take that win. And that's what they pay him to do. Stay dangerous kid.

@@tankeater listen kid what happens when you left off the gas on a 4 stroke? you slow down because of compression/engine breaking, in a higher gear that effect is less allowing you to carry higher speed, while your railing around those outside lines, then you get on the gas sooner thus generating more speed. hanging it out does not necessarily mean you are reving the bike to the moon in a lower gear, it could also mean that you are ridding at higher speeds. What Haiden is doing is blending both.

Deegan is going to shred! He’s only going to get better. Eventually, he’ll have enough speed that he won’t have to ride so loosely, or he’ll become comfortable at those speeds. There have been so many amazing amateur riders in the last decade who haven’t seen the same success once they turned pro. But this isn’t the case with Deegan! He’s a weapon ✊✊

@@jer3996 The entire point has escaped your grasp, son. At the beginning of the Supercross season all the Deegan youtube fanboys said, Deegan is going to destroy the other riders. I knew it wasn't going to happen, he's not a Stewart/Carmichael/Villopoto talent. Then they said the same thing about the outdoors/Motocross. Again, I knew that wasn't going to happen. A few weeks ago he got the red plate. Once again, I knew that was going to be short lived. Is he fast? Absolutely, but the thing is kids/teens racing who come from money tend to fade away, and the kids who's family struggled to make ends meet are the ones who dominate. As far a McGrath... he wasn't the overall package, he is the king of Supercross, not Supercross/Motocross. I don't put him up there with the greats. The greats dominated both series....

I’m honestly so happy that you not only made a podcast but also call races now. Ricky does but it’s very is to tell who he roots for and doesn’t always give his honest opinion. Like Jett giving it his all when you can tell when he does and doesn’t and half the top riders are hurt. I still think Jett is doing amazing but seeing how leading or going threw the pack and say he can do both when Eli did it was not spoken of the same and Jett isn’t passing the same and Ricky has a relationship with Jett so I get it. But when you say I’m feeling dangerous and speak facts about deegan and him being a rookie and not a youtuber. His riding alone shows that. Is what true people want to here. Cause when you want it and have talent that shows. Yes having money and help makes things easier but not able to be the best. So it’s great to see when it’s not just one sided or just talking about one person. Hopefully with how great this sport is with more time more People will truly see how much it takes to ride let alone win. So thanks for how much you have done for your sport and still do.

racing takes some luck along with skill.... Little man has got a bucket full in that he has experienced so many things (red plate?) in his rookie year and come out of it so much faster, still in one piece and with mind control over the rest of the 250 class . Oh and lets not forget he could also take everyone's lunch money at the playoffs! He rides like a shark in the water.... best not get between a shark and its checkered flag prey. Definitely fun to watch

I mean, you’re wrong. Nobody really cares if it was a “Cheater bike”. Everyone knows most of those factory amateur kids bikes are “cheater bikes”. Most people are just smart enough to know what the consequences are if you try and claim it and we found out what those consequences are after last year. They both (star and deegans) took more of a hit to their name by not letting the kid get the bike than if they had just gave it to him and he had “exposed” it as a cheater bike. It was his last race as an amateur so nobody really gives a shit what bike he was on.

Hunter seriously may never win another race again after his last 250 races at iron man and the smx playoffs.
