@@someghostinthewild What? Don't get me wrong I love Capcom and I am a big fan of Konami, one of my favorite developers ever. Though they have made poor decisions in the past that caused them to fall from grace. I haven't seen much stumbling from Taito. And I am not saying this game is better, I'm only pointing out that they didn't change Bubble Bobble to the point where it doesn't match the original game. Compare an old Contra game to a new Contra game for example, or an old Street Fighter to a new one.

I see, they've kinda changed the plot in this game. Originaly Bub and Bob were boys turned into bubble dragons and the main antagonist, the wizard called Super Drunk, who was a cute one, for a villain, was their parents, who were cursed by that ghost, who was showing up every time, you don't hurry up, called Baron von Blubba, and the two girls were kidnapped by this Super Drunk! Here the characters are just toys coming to life!

@@milesgames944 If you get the European version, it might not function well on the American version. I noticed some games like that. I played a European format game on an American format Playstation 3, and some of the stuff did not function correctly. I saw a gameplay of a European format game, and when I heard some glitchy talk, I think it's because that person is playing a European format game on the American format PlayStation. I noticed it was European, because it said "Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Presents" at the beginning.

@@chriswinston1223 it is only 50 levels, once you complete the 50 levels you get to play them again with a harder difficulty. Bubble Bobble features 100 levels, sort of. The stages in Bubble Bobble 4 Friends are represented by the main game consisting of 50 stages and when these are completed, you can replay them on the newly unlocked hard mode, which really does ramp up the challenge - Nintendo 4life
