I can't tell which equipment is Econocraft because the brushes and cloth look like Hanna Sherman for except for the rinse arches and dryers.
@SFCarWashChannel4 жыл бұрын
The wheel brushes and van brushes are from Econocraft.

I still can't bring myself to go through a car wash that is not touchless. I'd live to try one of the systems I see on this channel but my car which turned 2yrs old yesterday still looks great. I just can't take a chance on these materials running up and down my car. However, I love the channel and subscribed a long time ago!

Modern car washes with friction equipment are perfectly safe, and much more effective than any touchless wash. Most feature foam brush material, which does not hold any dirt and is constantly rinsed.

@@SFCarWashChannel how would i know if the system uses modern materials? Can I maybe write down the model number on the unit and look it up? What type of materials would I want the "brushes" to be made of?
@SFCarWashChannel4 жыл бұрын
Foam will always look shiny if the car wash has been recently used. Cloth is usually safe as well, and is the most common material used on mitters.

Would visit Quicky Car Wash/Get N Go. They are very friendly and may even allow you do to an outside view. Wow Car Wash has massive MacNeil tunnels. Have not visited them yet.

that wash is from the 80s
@SFCarWashChannel4 жыл бұрын
I think it opened in the 80s or early 90s. The Econocraft equipment was added later, and they had a ProtoVest Feather Touch blower until replacing it with the Aerodry units in 2018.

SF Car Wash Channel My dad grew up in the area. He said it’s been there since the 70’s. The retro looking Bubble Machine signs that have the bubble machine letters in “bubble form” have been there forever since he according to him. I live near by and I have been through the bubble machine before. There used to be another Bubble Machine at a Chevron in Culver City as per the Bubble Machine website that used to exist. The one on Culver City is not called the bubble machine anymore.

I really like the hard work they did to make this wash

@@mrm10199 Yes, I have heard about the Culver City site. It has been extensively remodeled since it changed ownership.

SF Car Wash Channel Did the owner of the bubble machine In LB own the one in Culver City?

Now I see why they do all that prep work...its because the machines barley touch the car...
@SFCarWashChannel4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the lack of wraps means they cannot operate with no prep in it current state. I think it does a great job for what it is though.

Frederick Smith True story, So, in Michigan where I live there’s a company by the name of jax and they have 11 locations throughout the Oakland county area and one location is in Bloomfield hills, and one of the wrap arounds on the right side BARELY touches the car

Colin Charmley it’s true even some of the washes here in Florida are terrible they simply do not clean the vehicles effectively☹️
