Question guys!! I've been following your Austinite (we're neighbors btw) website for a number if years now!!! I i loved your fire in the upstairs of your house, that really caught my attention to your talents!!! My question...I built my cauldron last year, and used the underwater ultrasonic led misters...ours didn't last but just a few days. Had to get replacement from Amazon. Want to use it again this year, but was wondering if you have a better suggestion for the fogger? It turned out magnificent, but I can't stress out on whether the fogger is gonna work the whole month of October or not...hope you guys can offer a better suggestion?

I made one last year. On top of lights strand. Sticks, looks great! I painted a few areas with black, orange. Red fire 🔥 to its under the cauldron of my tomato cage witches.

Very cool! Hoping to do something like that myself this year, if I can find the time. An unrelated thought/question: I've got one prop that will jump at people. I'm playing with putting up curtains (shower curtains) so that it's in its own little alcove so that people don't see it too early and spoil The Surprise. I've just about got it so that nobody can see it until they are right in front of it (and it is entirely blocked from view for tiny kids who might be too upset). BUT, it has been a huge pain. Wondering if you guys have ever done anything like this or maybe you can play with the idea if you like. (Kind of going for "Disney-esque control of sight-lines".) Any thoughts or videos related to this would be appreciated. (dang that sounded official :) )

Sounds like you’re on the right track. I think what a lot of Haunted Houses do is use other props to distract the viewers as they get closer to the big one so you can somewhat predict where they’ll be looking. Like put some thing else on the other side so that they’re naturally looking in that direction and not towards the thing you’re trying to hide. Something like that anyway. Might help! Sounds awesome.
