I think the scummy thing about gta rp servers is that they pretty much false advertise the whole experience. They tell players that "oh are you sick of MK2 Oppressors and shark cards?" Join our rp server and no longer will they be a problem for you. They are selling a lie to you. The experience on these RP servers is just a 10 times worse verison than online. You still have to deal with a long grind and people with OP ass vehicles that will gun you down for no reason. It will take you forever to actually get any progress within the server, They offer most new players crappy driving jobs that pay 10 dollars every 10 minutes. Even GTA online is not that bad with payouts. At least you can make a decent amount of money in an hour if you know what you are doing. In these servers they make a purposely long grind so that you feel pressured into buying there ranks or boosts. Its ironic they claim to be better than rockstar yet they are doing what they do but worse. Now thats not even the worst of it. The admins/mods are the worst. Hell not even just them, The players who play too. You break one of there rules, they gaslight and harass you about how bad of a person you are because you broke a rule that they set up for you to purposely fail at. Why should I waste my time, Playing on a lesser version of GTA online where I can't cause crime, Have to play pretend as a citizen, spend hours walking around trying to find a car while tryhard wannabe gangsters kill me (but if you kill them back you get punished) and admins punish you for having any small amount of fun. These servers aren't an escape from gta online's futuristic BS as youtubers and the server owners advertise. They are dictatorships where you work as a slave until the admins decide to let you also work in there regime.
