Rice Terraces - Thanos went there after he killed half of the universe 😁 feeling proud, he found peace there LOL Texting - because calls are expensive (before smartphones, nokia generation), and when u text u have proof of everything for future use.. now, since mobile data isnt so expensive anymore, most people switched to chat apps.. conversations are still via typing, not calling 😉 i once had an Australian boss, he used to call all the time.. then later on switched to texting so he can prove he gave instructions right.. 🤪

Fun Fact: Ferdinand Magellan is a Portuguese explorer who proved that the Earth is actually round. On his other trip to look for spices, he ended up in Cebu and met his demise there. According to stories and Legends Lapu-lapu a Chieftain in the area didn't like and approved the new comers thinking they are up to no good so before they could reach farther than the shore Lapu-lapu and his men went to stop them, resulting into the death of Ferdinand Magellan. Hope you like this little info.
@itsmecholocarlos4 жыл бұрын
They actually landed and even befriended the locals. It wasn’t really that they weren’t able to reach the shore. They landed in Homonhon and travelled to Cebu. They did a Sanduguan (blood pact) with Cebu’s rajah, Rajah Humabon. It was a fight between Lapulapu and that other chieftains who accepted Magellan and his troops. According to historians, it was a personal matter between Lapulapu and Humabon. Magellan promised to help the other chieftains in “taming” Lapulapu to strengthen their new friendship. But they underestimated the local’s military power because they didn’t have guns. Without planning, they decided to give Lapulapu a visit. They tried to have their ships dock but the shore was too shallow. They were forced to anchor away from the shore. While walking towards the shore, they were killed by warriors throwing spears and rocks. It was a humiliating defeat for them.
