UPDATE: I mentioned in the video that ART is proprietary (I used the word without knowing what it implies). ART is open source and it's also adopted by XOR Nerdseq to name a brand who adopts it. There are more brands following. Also, Tiptop is working on something I can't mention but it will fit the Buchla aesthetic. So for now, just enjoy the video and don't do impulse buys.

I would definitely be up for this. I always use a quantiser with the 259t- either an O_C or the uTune- so it would be a straight swap in the Buchla case. And I was really saddened when I found that the 259t’s gates out needed ART to operate. As I have a pair of 245t modules this is pretty close to being a no-brainer, and it sounds great. Thanks for the demo!

It's really cool and works really well. I also tried sending a squarewave as a 'gate stream' and it worked. Since the gate outs only fire when a note is changed, you can also use the 259 as a pattern generator for driving your second 245. As always, ideas start to pop in when the video is done.

@@CinematicLaboratory Oh dear. Two modules will have to make way: Stages (it’s ok; I have the 281t), and the RitS buffered mult, which is essential imo. I have starfish mults, but they not the same… Still, I look forward to your explorations!

I appreciate this .. and the Springray .. a spring operated modular reverb, .. I suppose this technique is borrowed from amplifier sciences, .. but, somehow .. I feel, who would have thought .. I've had my eye on Doepfer's Spring Reverb .. maybe even get 2, for a stereo-ized experience.
