So what the difference from the mag cut and sV?

Do you mean the steel itself or the knife as a whole? The steel itself, magnacut is going to be tougher (I think). I go over some of the difference between steels in other videos. If you run a google search that is "magnacut vs sv 30" a bunch of good stuff comes up. Knife Steel Nerds is a great resource.

@@TheMartialist yeah I meant the steel. I am literally in the middle between going to Cabela’s today and just getting the 420 high carbon or getting the S 30 V online the Web exclusive you seem like you know a lot more than me. That’s why I had that question.

S30v is way better than 420 hc. It will be harder to sharpen, though. And it costs more. I don't think there is anything wrong with the 420 hc. If you can find a 420 hc steel buck for cheap anywhere, i would get that. It's getting harder and harder to find deals on buck 110s, though. And I wasn't trying to be rude, I just can't sum up all of the differences and commonalities of steels in a concise way. Good luck!

@@TheMartialist no I really appreciate it! They had the classic 110 at the Cabela’s at the mall next to my house. I think I’m just gonna get the 420 high carbon only because this will be my first real knife and it’s gonna be a learning curve I rather beat it up and learn how to sharpen something a little cheaper so I don’t fuck up a good knife because I didn’t know what I was doing and then I think if I really do enjoy it I’m just gonna do a custom on their website and I’ll be posting it on my KZbin channel as well, so make sure to subscribe!
